Seeking SNS coupled tandem to borrow/rent

 

Dear All,
My wife and I are tandem enthusiasts in Baltimore and we are wondering if anyone in the area might have an SNS-coupled touring tandem available to borrow or rent for a couple of weeks this August for us to take on a bike trip to Colombia (South America). We're a family of four and have one SNS-coupled Co-Motion Periscope, but we will need a second tandem for all four of us to be able to ride together. We use crank shorteners on the back with the kids (aged 8 and 9), so the back seat can be almost any height, but it would either have to fit my?wife or me as captain (she's 5'8" and I'm 6'2"). We've toured before and would be happy to pay you to rent the bike and/or even lend you our uncoupled Santana if you'd like a tandem to ride while we borrow yours. Please let me know if you have any leads!

Had you noticed Calfee has a small fleet of tandems for rent ? ?

No, I've never heard of calfee before and didn't know you could rent one. I'll definitely check it out, thanks for the tip!

If Calfee¡¯s rentals were unfitting, there is also the possibility Calfee would let it be known who else to seek out for rentals.
