HAYA:
Haya (Arabic: ????) is a comprehensive word that does not have a direct equivalent in English. It encompasses the meanings of bashfulness, decency, modesty, and shyness. In Islamic terminology, it primarily refers to modesty and decency. Haya encourages Muslims to avoid anything considered distasteful or abominable. It plays a significant role in Islam as one of the most important aspects of faith (Iman). The Arabic antonym of Haya is Fahisha (?????).
