I am really frustrated by the way Middle East despots and dictators trash human rights, commit war crimes and genocide while the rest of the largely male-dominated governments signed up to the United Nations look the other way.

Sorry but the white, male, stale grey suits hanging out with US President Donald Trump are hard to differentiate from the suits surrounding Putin in the Kremlin, the leader in China and the other men sitting at the United Nations Security Council. if they're not committing atrocities they're not stopping them either.

?Calls to compensate the descendants of Britain's vile slave trade are always dismissed by Establishment figures as being too impractical but there are families in the UK who are still benefitting today from the slave economy.

?Furthermore, the British taxpayer just completed paying off government debts in 2015 accrued when the country's wealthiest families received the modern equivalent of billions of pounds in compensation after slavery was abolished.?This should be of interest especially to America's black population, most of whom?are descendant from former slaves and not immigrants?

SINCE?the last few weeks, Ontario Sex Education Curriculum was ?in the media ?lime light. This sparked a various discussions in different forums.

?are angry, frustrated and losing the confidence and belief in the public education system.

It has been reported that the Ministry of Education and its different agencies are asking?parents consent to implement sex education curriculum. This is a blatant lie.

The fact is that:

Premier Kathleen Wynne will introduce a controversial sex education curriculum into Ontario elementary schools in September 2015. Controversial because the last time the Liberal government tried to do this in 2010 - when Ms Wynne was education minister from 2006 to early 2010 - it botched it so badly then premier??killed it. (QMI Agency news published in Sun on November 9, 2014).?

Ontario’s ex McGuinty liberal government and present Wynne’s government have polluted the spiritual environment of Ontario in such a way that religious communities have had to hold their breath.

Let’s re visit and re check the changes and its purpose regarding sex education curriculum (proposed) in the light of “Accepting Education Act” and “Freedom of gender expression act”. This curriculum has already been implemented in the school system for several years. Changes have been made as such that now in public schools, a boy can use girls washroom and a girl can use boy’s washroom and stopping them to do so is a “human rights violation.”This has also extended to all the public washrooms. While your wife, mother, sister or daughter will use a public washroom, all of a sudden a man can enter the same washroom and you can’t stop him. Freedom of gender change and expression at any time, provides opportunity for sexual predators for sexual crime by using ladies washrooms and gender neutral washrooms.

The emergence of Black Lives Matter is an indication of the serious escalation of racism and bigotry in America these days which is obviously felt around the US hence the emergence of the #taketheknee protests.

The basis of the argument in this verse is that the Prophet (peace be upon him) was unlettered. His compatriots and his kinsmen among whom he had spent his whole life, from birth to old age, knew fully that he had never read a book nor ever handled a pen.

FEW?years ago, I was sitting with some of Ulema (scholars of Islam) in Toronto at a dinner party. I initiated, “I have a question if any one among you will prefer to answer.” Then, I asked a question:

“History proves that wherever, whenever, Muslims migrated and entered into any country, the darkness of the society started disappearing, and finally light engulfed the whole nation. As Muslims’ presence increased, the light overcame the darkness. But now things have completely changed. It is going opposite now. The population of Muslims in Canada have increased tremendously in last twenty-five or thirty years. Now we have hundreds of Masajid, Islamic Centers, Madrasas and countless number of Huffaz and ulema. We have about one million Muslims in Canada. However, the darkness of the society in social evils increased in a much higher proportion than our presence.?Why is this difference?”?

OF?the many revelations I discovered on my spiritual journey to Islam one that completely blew me away was just how environmentally friendly and green is this great faith. Reading through the pages of the Holy?Qur’an, it is abundantly clear that God, as our Creator, made we humans trustees of our beautiful planet.

THE?universe contains the structure and order enabling all life to function, preserve itself, and propagate. Structure provides parameters to function within, and order provides reliability of events and responses to action.

The pure evil of state-terrorism

Double standard has become the most established norm in world politics; one rule for the Muslims and another rule for the non-Muslims is now visible everywhere. If a terrorist attack takes place in a western city by a Muslim, the western governments, the European Union, the media outfits, even the UN Security Council, spare no time to condemn it. The US President Donald Trump quickly grabs it as an opportunity to express anger and hatred against Islam. Such condemnation by the western leaders is very selective -only to promote their anti-Muslim bias and animosity. Because of such hateful mind-set, any act of terrorism even by a lone Muslim bomber –without any involvement of any Muslim state or institution, is labelled as Islamic terrorism. Thus, Islam –the religion of 1.6 billion Muslims gets vilified. But such condemnation doesn’t happen if the Muslims become the target of non-Muslim terrorists.

IN?another “remarkable” judgment, the Supreme Court?on October 11,?held that sexual intercourse by a man with his wife, who is below 18 years of age, is rape.

A girl child below the age of 18 cannot be treated as a commodity having no say over her body or someone who has no right to deny sexual intercourse to her husband, the Supreme Court held.

“Human rights of a girl child are very much alive and kicking whether she is married or not and deserve recognition and acceptance,” a Bench of Justices Madan B. Lokur and Deepak Gupta observed.

The Court has ruled that it amounts to rape even if it is with consent. The Judgment is in line with the modern ideologies that have taken every possible step to weaken the institution of marriage. I will like to quote here from my coming book, “Economics First or Health First?”:
