[SoftwareControlledHamRadio] Front panel matrix
¿ªÔÆÌåÓýHey one thing here¡ I have to redefine the radio band structure every time I use a new version of the software to include the missing bands (e.g. 630M, 160M, 4M, 2M, 1.25M, 70cm, 33cm, 23cm).? Obviously some of these bands take hardware that is not currently present¡(notably 2M-23cm). But it¡¯s tough to work on the hardware for those bands when the bands keep disappearing! ? Dr. William J. ¿ªÔÆÌåÓýAs long as its consistent... it should not matter... ? I designed the LPF for this set (which is the Kenwood/ Elecraft/ Yaesu/ etc. standard): ? But somehow that got twisted.? These standards are important because there is a connector on the LPF control board to send these to the back panel to operate devices external to the radio like antenna switches, filters, amps, etc. that also have programming for these standards.? ? ? The average person should not have to worry about this¡ because when connected, it just works¡ ? ? ? ? Dr. William J. Schmidt - K9HZ J62K(J68HZ) 8P6HK ZF2HZ PJ4/K9HZ VP5/K9HZ PJ2/K9HZ VP2EHZ ?
