Latest FW Update

Some how when I use the audio hat extension board it causes issues, If I plug audio hat direct into main board no boot issues.?
I ohmed out the traces on on extension board and all seem fine, so not sure but I can go on with calibration and working on optimizing rf cable lengths and ends.
Odd thing is I never had issue with previous builds, I tried previous build and got same result so I suspected hardware.
Good thing is I have plenty of room for audio hat extension is not needed.?

Others have had trouble with the pins and connectors… they are not all created the same and can cause intermittent connections if they are not 100% compatible.

I went thru that, changed all the headers and pins to US made and , new Tweeny and Audio Hat, it was golden until yesterdays upgrade. I must have tweaked something pressing the reset button. The pins on expansion board must be off alignment just enough to cause issues. There is a lot of pins and headers that have to align perfectly.
I wish they had brought the rest out to a pad where we could add an external PB. All good for now.
At some point I will redo all the headers and pins again with new Tweeny and Hat.

The last one I built I dispensed with the sockets and just soldered it all to the pins and the main board.? As long as I don’t “screw up” and short something out, I guess I’m ok…
