To be clear: the software is there to control the output attenuator. There was a bug when trying to use the menu to do so, but this does not affect any of the calibration routines.

ALL was fine until I tried SSB TX. PTT will not go into TX, CW keys up just fine. I went directly to 1/8 input socket and tried grounding PTT there and still no luck. Tim W4YN

Good question… the TX attenuator should work the same way… so either there is a bug in the software… or there is a problem with the MCP23017. Since the RX side works I think its probably a bug
