Re: Latest FW PTT not working
Found issue not sure of cure!
The Mic 1/8 IN socket is not chassis grounded on grounded to Mic Ground on Audio Hat.
So PTT on mic panel jack is not chassis ground, and if you connect the Mic and PTT panel sleeves together there is no Chassis ground on PTT and no TX.
Seems PTT on Mic connector should not be used only PTT Panel socket and share it's ground with the Key Panel socket ground which is chassis ground.
Hope this makes sense.?
If you chassis ground the mic panel socket you loose the mic isolated ground.
Maybe I am missing something, happens quite often Hi.

Hi David: You might also want to join our site, too. (/g/SoftwareControlledHamRadio) There is a boatload of information there plus a lot of stuff in the Wiki and Files sections that might be of interest. Al and I are the originators of the T41 and we just finished the final update on a book about it: You don't need to buy the book as most of the T41 info is on the site. However, most people think it's a pretty good intro to DSP with a "minimal math" discussion of what makes SDR's work. Read some of the reviews of the book and see what you think. The second edition has about 150 reviews, but this update to the 3rd Ed. just came out about two seeks ago. Enjoy!! Jack, W8TEE

Re: U8 test
When RX_BPF is LOW/FALSE/0, S21 between J23 and J18 (assuming receive is bridged to transmit in the TR switch) should be low, meaning less than -45 dB. That's what is shown in the plot on the right. When U8 was blown S21 was actually between -3 and -8 dB.
