where can i get the latest pickit3 sw from?
i just get a 404 error if i try and use the links on the pickit 3 sw i have,any links for an udate?,thanks m3vuv73

getting a 1602 led working with the 3.2fw
can someone post a screenshot of the pickit3? screen with it setup to make the atu-100 3.2fw work with the 1602+ ic2 board ,so i know what to alter in the cells as still not sure what cell is what and where on the pickit3 screen,i set the eprom data screen top row 2nd from left too 7e but getting a blank readout on the screen,only the backlight shows ok.,thanks.

the only way i get the data+ code protect not greyed out is by clicking check cominication first,where do i get the pickit3 updated zip,have you a link?,thanks.

Open the pickit software and go under tools and click disable write protect .
Do you have the updated pickit zip file ?
I just checked mine and the option is not greyed out !

well i flashed the 3.2 fw and had code and data protect turned off,it seems to have removed the all protect warning in red,i am trying to make it work with the lcd with ic2 pcb,i changed one cell to 7E,top row 2nd one from the left,is that ok?,i get a blank screen,see pic how do i fix it?,thanks+ 73.

ok i cleaned the ic2 pcb and read it as 8574t,but the issue is the words all protect are in red,if i go into tools and look at code and data protect they are greyed out until i go tools check cominication,i can then go back and uncheck data and code protect but as soon as i try and read the ayu pic it goes to all protect in red againe,how do i fix that?.

from what i can read on my 1c2 adaptor bord chip number it looks like 87541,does that look plausable,if so what too change /program into the atu pcb pic?,thanks.

You can edit the cell data in the pickit window with your keyboard and only upload the eeprom data from pickit to the ATU

The field EEPROM Data?contains 4 lines with numbers.
the first line starts with 00 in grey backgroud color, there after are the cells 00H to 0FH (or 15 decimal)
the second line contains cells 10H to 1FH (or 16 to 31 Decimal)

and the address can be modified using the three links A1, A2, A3
just below the contrast pot. see the PCF8574 datasheet for details

As stated in the manual, for the PCF8574AT and 1602 LCD, the EEPROM values should be.
EEPROM Addr 0 = 4E
EEPROM Addr 1 = 01

great,i finaly have it working with the oled,now how do i get it working with an led peadout,i have a 2 row lcd with the i2 squared piggyback board,its the one normaly used with arduino,i cant remember its name.,what do i need to alter for that to work with this pcb?,cheers+73.
