Off Topic I know but I thought you might be interested in the following

Basically they plan to launch a paper plane via a weather balloon and then release the plane and track it back to earth.

The Balloon will have GPS for recovery. I message them and suggested they use APRS on the plane, they seem keen on that.

Awaiting a reply to see if they need any help.
