HELLO ALL, I WAS SENT TO THE HOSPITAL FOR MASSIVE UTI WITH WATER FOR BLOOD, NO RED BLOOD CELLS, NO IRON, AND DEHYDRATION, NAUSEA, VOMITING, UNABLE TO STAY AWAKE..................WHAT A HORRIBLE TIME THIS WAS.............. THE HOSPITAL I WAS TAKEN TOO...........HORRIBLE.......ADMITTING WROTE THE WRONG REASON FOR ME COMING IN......ER DID NOT LISTEN TO PARAMEDICS.........NEW NURSE CAME IN AND DID THE WRONG PROCEDURE ON ME........FAKE FINGERNAILS PUNCHED THROUGH GLOVES INTO MY SKIN WHILE TRYING TO GET A URINE SAMPLE FROM ME...........MY PRIMARY DR. GAVE ME THE WRONG RX FOR THE UTI AND I HAD A REACTION TO IT........ADMITTING NURSE DID THE IV STAT MEDS WRONG AND PUSHED TO FAST IN IV CAUSING A BLOWN IV AND SEIZURES ON RIGHT SIDE OF MY BODY..............IF THAT WAS NOT ENOUGH.........BECAUSE SHE PUSHED TOO MANY MEDS IN TOO FAST I LOST EVERY IV LINE SHE TOUCHED........CAUSING ME TO HAVE 22 IV SITES STARTED..........NEW MEDICATION TO STOP SOME PROBLEMS MADE THE TREMORS ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF MY BODY WORSE...........THEY CHANGED THE ANTIBIOTICS 3 TIMES..........I NOW HAVE A NEW HUGE BOWL OF BOTTLE ON BOTTLES OF RX FROM THE HOSPITAL HERE TO CORRECT WHAT HAPPENED...........BECAUSE OF A PROCEDURE MY PRIMARY DR. DID IN HER OFFICE, IT CAUSED ONE OF MY INTESTINAL GRAFTS TO CLOSE AND I COULD NOT POOP FOR 10 DAYS............THIS ALL ALMOST KILLED ME!!! I DID REPORT ALL THIS TO THE HEAD NURSING SUPERVISOR FOR THE HOSPITAL, AS I AM A RETIRED NURSE, AND POINTED OUT ALL THE WRONGS.........I WAS EVEN ABLE TO SHOW THE BLOOD STAINS ON MY CLOTHES FROM THE NURSE WITH THE LONG NAILS, WHICH IS AS OSHA INFRACTION TO WEAR LONG FAKE NAILS AT WORK..........TO THE SUPERVISOR, SO SHE WAS AWARE OF THE BLEEDING THIS ALL CAUSED FORM THE ONE NURSE AND HER NEW NURSE DOING THE FIRST PROCEDURE. IN ALL I HAD 22 IV STARTS DUE TO THE PEOPLE THAT DID NOT KNOW HOW TO START IV SITES IN A REAL PERSON. SO...............I AM HOME NOW, TRYING TO MEND AS BEST I CAN. THEY HAD TO CORRECT OVER 5 MISTAKES DONE TO ME WHILE I WAS IN THEIR CARE. THIS WAS A NEW HOSPITAL TO ME AND I THOUGHT I WAS GOING TO A GOOD PLACE FOR HELP. NO..............NOT SO..........EVIDENTLY. THEY WANTED TO SEND ME TO A REHAB FACILITY AFTER THIS. I SAID NO. MY BEST FRIEND IS A RETIRED NURSE MANAGER FOR A BONE MARROW REPLACEMENT UNIT AND SHE WAS VISITING AT THE TIME WHEN SOME OF THIS HAPPENED. SHE AND MY OTHER FRIEND TOOK CARE OF ME. THEY TOLD THE OTHER NURSES TO GET ON THE BALL AND GET THE DR. IN RIGHT AWAY. THEY DID. AND THINGS STARTED GETTING TAKEN CARE OF CORRECTLY THEN. BUT.......SADLY, MY GRANDSON WAS VISITING, AND SAW ALL THIS TOO. HE IS ONLY 15 AND WE ARE VERY CLOSE. I WAS CALLED TODAY AS THE PHARMACY WAS CALLED IN TO EVALUATE THE MISTAKES MADE. MY INSURANCE CO. CALLED TOO FOR A REPORT. SO MAYBE THIS WILL BE TAKEN CARE OF. I WILL NOT BE ONLINE MUCH, UNTIL IS STABILIZE OUT BETTER AT HOME. MY FRIEND JUST LEFT AND IS COMING OVER EACH DAY TO SEE ME. SHE JUST CHANGED MY BED AND HELP ME GET CLEANED UP FROM THE HOSPITAL. SHE DID ALL MY LAUNDRY TOO. SO I HOPE YOU ALL HAVE A BETTER WEEKEND THAN I DID. LAST 5 DAYS WERE HELL. MY ANEMIA IS HEALING THE IRON DEFICIENCY IS HEALING SLOWLY I HAVE LEAKS OF IM MEDS ALL THROUGH MY SKIN WITH VERY SWOLLEN ARMS NOW I CAN GO TO THE B.R. WITH MUCH PAIN, BUT ALL WORKING I CAN NOW EAT TINY AMOUNTS AND I AM NOT DEHYDRATED NOW UTI IS GONE SO SOME BETTER JUST NOW THE RESIDUAL OF WHAT WAS DONE TO ME INCORRECTLY AT A SLOW CHANGE SORRY...............
