New Tab ROSTERS 3
I've added a new tab on the Google Sheet called ROSTERS that shows 2024 stats for all your players. It will also be used for YTD stats next year (depending on how long it takes me to keep updated). I tried to catch all the transactions since the offseason. Please let me know if anything doesn't look correct on your roster. If there is any discrepancy, StratDraft will always take precedence. Hopefully this helps you in your roster reduction decisions. Ken

Last TB Availables post
Tampa WILL be cutting the following two players: Jo Adell and Andrew Vaughn. A #7 pick (lowest tradeable pick) is all I would ask. First offer gets them. This doesn't mean the TB Front Office is closed for the holiday season. Still willing to talk trades should they make sense. Keep in mind when trading picks for players, you're essentially trading your lowest current protect + a pick, because the newly obtained player will bump someone off of your 12 (or 13) MLB Keeper list. Update
The following is an update on the future of the Flory site. Although we chose not to use it this year, a know a lot of you are still in leagues that use it and may not have received his latest update. Here it is (edited for spelling errors). Key comments have been boldfaced. Sounds like we made the right choice. Promised something soon, here it is. The Flory.net SOM baseball league sites will scale back in 2025. All full serve leagues will be allowed to end their current seasons with full service. After that, they will be self-serve. As long as the site is up, self-serve leagues can continue as they wish. There is one bug I need to fix that was not advancing leagues to their next season, basically, repeating a season. If you need move your season forward, let me know and I will take care of it. My plan is to, after the Super Bowl in 2025 (I have a football pool on the site), start bringing the code on the pool up to the current level of code so as to reduce the cost to me for the service. There are only about 20 programs there to be upgraded as opposed to a few hundred in the baseball site, that won't happen. There will be periods where the baseball site will act strange (unknown what that means) as I work on the pool programs. I will try to announce those times on the site when they happen. After I get the pool programs upgraded, it probably means the end of the baseball site. Will have to wait on that. in my current state, it's the best I can do. Got even worse when I came down with covid for the 2nd time. Ugh! And once again, I know there are many well-wishers amongst you, and the sentiments are always appreciated. But please don't send any replies to this email regarding my health and well-being. Reading emails can be difficult with my vision. nick flory ALSO: REMINDER - Cuts on SD are due by 12/31. You should be cutting down to your 12 MLB keepers (13 if you got the bonus), plus your two AA guys, plus the number of AAA guys you assigned (5 max). If you only have two AA players, there's nothing you need to do. Your AAA assignments are also due by then, and they must be emailed to me. This means in no case should any team have more than 20 players on StratDraft. Ken

I am taking a lost shot of trading players I feel have some value. Some of thee are keepers that I am willing to trade. Paul Goldschmidt, Jeff McNeil, Aroldis Chapman, Austin Barnes, Yonathon Daza, Kevin Ginkel, Nolan Jones, Daniel Lynch, Jake Rogers, Edmundo Sosa, and Juan Yopez. All can be had to the equivalent of a 7th round pick. Also will consider draft pick flips. I am willing to discuss Sean Manaea or any of my awesome relievers. I'm interested in buying keepers from people who have too many (note this means keepers, not rando guys I wouldn't cut off a 25 man roster but arent going to make 12 man keeper lists) Alternatively, id think about tanking a year and trading my good cards (Ragans, Gimenez, Clase, Arraez, Robles, Steele, e Suarez)

SOM Range Ratings
All, SOM has released their annual Range Ratings. They had the Sneak Preview the last two days on X (Twitter). I'm attaching the file here. I must say, I am pretty happy with the accuracy of my projections in my first year doing them in comparison to LBB's results, especially considering they have been doing them about two decades now. Take a look yourself. I will be looking at what I can tweak to make them even more accurate next year. This should help quite a bit with border line cuts. Ken

Christmas Sale 2
Santa has arrived and just needs some milk and cookie draft picks to drop off his wares. Here are presents. Are they on your Christmas list? Jason Foley 28 year old Detroit closer - good numbers Kirby Yates Amazing numbers as mentioned before. Daniel Lynch - excellent left bullpen guy - dominates lefties Jason Adam - Whip under .90 Mason Miller - Oaklands best player - dominating numbers and stuff Joe Jimenez - Great numbers - reverse pitcher Sean Manaea = My best pitcher - not trying to win this year. Jeff McNeil, Paul Goldschmidt, Xander Bogaerts, Kevin Ginkel, Etc. No one is untouchable. Prefer draft picks but willing to discuss players too. I am not trying to add players. Subtraction or even numbers of players works. I am always willing to even out trades by doing draft pick flips. Ho, ho , ho.
