? ? I have been lurking for some time, was a member of the Yahoo group.? I had one of these lathes but gave it to my son with a new 3 jaw chuck.? He scrapped it just recently...what a waste.? Recently found another 109 and it has the 4 jaw chuck on it.? I will need some change gears eventually.? ?My Lathe is mounted on 1/2 inch steel plate for rigidly.? My previous lathe had a bent spindle and I had one made, it was better but not by much.? I look forward to what you guys can contribute to getting this "new to me" lathe back in usable order.? ?Jim
