Re: QRV Info - DF7TV May 4, 2022 (General calling Japan, AWT and CWT)
Hello Hiro san,
Thank you for our second QSO on a new band! I was very happy to see you spotted in Europe and so we could make it on 17m this time. Now that we have 10m and 17m, I hope to get you on 12m, 15m and 20m soon. Conditions to Japan from 09:00 UTC to 13:00 UTC were very bad here today, The QSL card of DK0SU via bureau is already in the "OUT-Box". CU 73 Tom DF7TV |

I am having GB, Giving Back QRV from 10:00Z (19:00JST) so will be at A1-Chat. Let us try some high bands if CONDX allows. Suppose you are also a SKCC member, so please get ready with your mechanical key and exchange SKCC NR. Me, just a few to go to ¡°C¡±. :) 73, // HIRO, JJ1FXF in Golden Week :) 2022/05/04 6:08¡¢Tom DF7TV via groups.io <df7tv@...>¤Î¥á©`¥ë: |

Re: ARRL News Letter
Hi, Tom-san.
TNX for the QSO. My JCC NR is 1230, just in case. :) Yes, I saw your call sign at the 3830scores. A1CLUB is really expanding with more CW activities lately and that causes increasing more members, too. I look forward to working you at AWT. Have a good day, Tom-san. 73, // HIRO, JJ1FXF |
Re: ARRL News Letter
Hello Hiro san,
Nice to see that ARRL informed about the AWT. This week I participated the first time in AWT. The user-defined-contest module for N1MM Logger+ worked excellent. Well -- only three QSOs this time, but at least one station from Japan -- JA1ERB/Tosy san. He was not in the contest but I informed him that I am in a contest and added the QSO :) And we had a short chat -- not usual for contests -- but very nice. The X7 beam has been turned to Japan all the time, but most probably I would have made more QSOs if it was directed to the USA :) I heard JN1THL/ Ken san calling for AWT, but I think his antenna has been turned straight to California and so he could not copy me. The 15 to 10m bands seem to become increasingly good for Japan-Europe contacts. CU 73 Tom (BTW: Thank you for our first CW QSO on 10m; It will be added to my KCJ award application, as soon as confirmed.) |
ARRL News Letter
Have you read the latest ARRL News Letter issued on April 28?
It says about AWT, just a single line to tell about its schedule. But I was really surprised that ARRL knew about AWT. AWT has some scores posted to 3830scores.com from overseas stations for which thank you very much. Also ICWC, International CW Council is presenting another weekly CW contest, MST from May 2nd. Don¡¯t miss it! 73, // HIRO, JJ1FXF |

Hello Atsu san,
you may consult: Recommendation ITU-R M.1677-1 (10/2009) International Morse code by the International Telecommunication Union on page 3, several signals/prosigns/abbreviations are shown E.g. Understood . . . ? . Error (eight dots) . . . . . . . . Recommendations M.1170 and M.1172 may also be of interest ( see ) To my knowledge "Understood" ( ligature <VE> or <SN> ) is not used in amateur radio service. CU 73 Tom, DF7TV |
Re: Meaning of di-di-di-dah-di
Glad to help you Atsu. I took part to the JIDX last weekend and worked 49 JA stations, perhaps some A1CLUB member as well. See you next. 73 Fabio, IK0IXI Il giorno mer 13 apr 2022 alle ore 10:45 ATSU JE1TRV/JS2AHG <je1trv@...> ha scritto:
