Sad looking lineoleum

I have a 2013 classic Aliner. The lineoleum has seen better days. I hesitate to lay self adhesive linoleum tiles on top bc of temp changes and the floor, of course, will shake as I tool around PA. So, I'm considering cutting an indoor-outdoor rug to fit. Any other suggestions for sprucing up the floor that I haven't considered?

Thanks,

Kelly

I had to replace some the floor that was water damaged and took the opportunity to cut out the old linoleum and replace it with a piece from Home Depot. I cut out the old that you could see from the main room. I cut along the edge of cabinets, bed etc and then put a small piece of wood trim around the edges. I was happy with the look.

Hello Kelly:

How is the wood under the lineoleum? We used a rug for a while. I cut it to fit and put some snaps to keep it in place. Just be sure to dry it out after trips.

Carl.

I used waterproof foam backed vinyl planks.? No adhesive, just caulk around the perimeter when complete.? It did add 70 pounds to the camper.? It was offset in part by the fact I don't use the dinette table.? This flooring does show scuffs, like any vinyl I suppose.? I didn't want something that would be slippery.

I just plain didn't like the look of my floor. I didn't really like the look of the entire interior, everything was BROWN! So I "Sunnified" it :) I laid pop tiles down (adhesive backed, pull of the paper). I laid the tiles directly over the original linoleum after giving it a good cleaning with Krud Kutter first.?They were easy to use and easy to cut the pieces I needed to fit into some areas. When done, I noticed the seams didn't always line up, floor is not exact, and therefore there were some "openings" between some tiles that were a bit larger than others. I'm sure no one but me would have noticed but I decided to use grout. All said and done I'm glad I did because it gave it a nicer finish. I did this about 2 months ago. So far, no issues with any lifting except one small piece by the door (but this was my own fault) so I used a little wood glue to hold it down, issue resolved. They seem to be pretty durable, we've been out a few times and no issues. I guess time will tell if it withstands some of the issues mentioned here but for now, I'm so very happy with it and get so many compliments. I bought the tiles on amazon. Some before & after pics for you. Good luck, can't wait to hear which direction you go in.

Looks good, what model fridge do you have?? Is it a 12v

Happy camping

Wow! Huge difference. Love the look. I'm rethinking the rug now...

Hi, it is a Haier. It came with the camper. Just a dorm fridge with a small freezer compartment (which works amazing!) It is electric only but I'm ok with that. I thought about getting a larger one but then I would lose the space above it where I keep the perfect size "drawer" that holds all of my kitchen needs. I even use a tension rod to hold it in place (with a towel hanging off the back to prevent any scratches/injuries to the wall). Worked like a charm! Even after driving 2 miles down a VERY bumpy dirt road.?

Thanks! It was fun remodeling. Much cheerier in here now and brighter. It was so depressing before. I do have a few throw rugs and now grateful that I added them as the floor was a bit cold in the mornings.

Thank you! I painted the cabinets around the edges. The raised portion is actually faux wood contact paper. Love the look however I just nicked it recently, just a tiny prick, but it is noticeable and wondering what it is going to look like when I repair it. I hope I don't have to replace the whole piece because it was a bit of a bear to do.
