Faucet Cartridge for 2015 ALiner Expedition
Whoops! I'm resending this with the correct subject line. I have a 2015 ALiner Expedition with a Dometic sink. ?I need to replace a cracked faucet cartridge, but I haven't been able to find the correct part. ?Can any of you help out with the name of the cartridge manufacturer and how I can get the correct part number? ?Thanks. 开云体育Dear A-Frame Group,A week ago Friday I sent an email (see below) hoping someone could identify the correct faucet cartridge for the Dometic sink in my 2015 ALiner Expedition. I also sent a request to ALiner. Unfortunately, I never received a single reply.? I went to local RV parts departments, but they couldn’t identify it. I then went to Grainger Industrial Supply and ordered what appeared to be the best match, but it also didn’t fit.? Have any of you encountered this problem or know how to identify the correct replacement part? (A search of Dometic turned up the metal faucet parts but not the plastic cartridge.). The cartridge costs about $20; a new sink costs more than $300. I’d be grateful for any information or leads you might have.? No answer means nobody currently browsing knows.? You could try the aframe groups on Facebook and see if they have any answers.? Someone there might know.? But if you're looking for a part that rarely breaks, people on the forums are just not going to know what the replacement is.? In that case Aliner is your best bet.? They may be slow but they will answer eventually if you bug them.
The FB groups to ask are "Aframe Campers: Aliner, Chalet, ..." and "Chalet Camping (Chalet, Aliner, ..." |
开云体育Hi: A new faucet cost us about $90. Better than a whole sink. Carl. On 11/13/2023 1:36 PM, Steve T wrote:

This prompted me to do something that may work for others. ?I don’t need this faucet right now, but if I need it in the future I may have trouble searching the forum.
instead, I created an “Aliner wish list” in my Amazon lists. ?I’ll put the linked products that apply to my camper (bubble windows, correct caulk, etc). That way if the need arises I’ll have a handy list to work from. ?Thought this might help others because you can list only those versions that apply to your camper. mike |
Oooh! Can you make that Amazon list public and share so we can see it? I also keep a folder full of bookmarks for trailer stuff.? But over the years it has grown to contain 190 entries, so now I have a hard time finding anything because there's too much stuff.? And there's no search feature for bookmarks in Chrome, and they even drop the "find in page" function when looking at bookmarks.? ?Dang . . .

In Chrome, click on "All Bookmarks" at the right side of your bookmark bar. Then click "Open side panel to see all bookmarks". You'll find the search function there.... I use a tablet for accessing the internet just because the device size is convenient. That device doesn't have any of the UIs that you and Don mentioned.? When I googled how to search bookmarks years ago I got all those not applicable hits and pretty much gave up looking.? I just poked around again and noticed they now have a magnifying glass on the bookmarks screen to search bookmarks.? LOL? I don't know if that has been added over the years since I last looked or if it was there all along and I just missed it.

I've also sort of gotten used to the tablet being the bastard child of devices.? It has a smallish screen in landscape mode, and most vendors don't want to support that.? Facebook used to have a special UI just for tablets.? It worked pretty well but it was missing some features that you could get with both the desktop or the phone UI.? But facebook just dropped support for that and now tablets get the desktop UI.? But that works poorly because the desktop UI has so much stuff on it that the tablet font size has to be so small you pretty much can't read a lot of stuff on the screen.??
