Electrical hum from left brake on ALiner

When I was checking brake lights on my 2015 A-Liner Classic, I can hear electrical humming from the left brake.? When the brake peddle is released the humming stops.? Anyone have experience with the electric brakes on the A-Liners?? Why is there a humming coming from inside the brake drum? Thanks Jack McWilliams

My Chalet's brakes make a high pitched squeal when the brakes are applied. I believe its normal to hear the noise as voltage is applied to the electromagnets. ¿ªÔÆÌåÓý? Jack: ? That¡¯s the sound of the brake actuator magnet working.? It¡¯s normal.? ? If you only hear it on one side, you might want to jack the silent side while the camper is attached to the TV, actuate the brake controller and see if the silent wheel will spin in the forward direction.? If it does, that side¡¯s brake wiring is broken or the brake is defective and needs replacing before you tow again. ? If you replace a brake assembly on one side, do it on the other as well. ? Hum is caused by AC voltage.? How does AC get into a 12VDC system?? Maybe it's generated by the brake controller, but my guess is that you had the converter plugged into 120VAC and the 60Hz ripple was getting into the brake magnet current.?
