Electrical Engineer

Hi all.? Isn't someone in our group an electrical engineer?? I have a new dangerous hobby involving high voltage electrical current.? ( Fractal, or Lichtenberg wood burning )? I'd like a bit of critique on the device I built, and its relative safety.

Thanks!

I would watch the BigClive video on the dangers of attempting to burn wood with a microwave transformer. He claims 30 people have died trying it in the USA.
He gives a good explanation of what could happen and why it kills.

I'll check that video out, if I haven't already.? ?I built what I believe is a safe rig.? The only thing a master electrician friend of mine was concerned about was the potential a high voltage magnetic field from the high voltage side might induce a higher voltage in the low voltage side if the are close enough together.? I have three intermittent switches that must all be depressed at the same time to power the transformer.? I used it on counter tops I made for the camper.??

The counter tops look great. When people ask what kind of wood is that? Tell them it¡¯s Danger Wood. ?
