Aliner door sill water leak

Hello,

My 2015 Ranger 10 has been very dry inside since I got it. ?I live in Kentucky and we get thunderstorms in the summer, and recently after a storm I have opened the door and found some water collected on the sill (the part that says "Watch Your Step" and in the inside floor next to the sill. ? ?As far as I can tell, the rain is blowing in the exterior door cracks and running down the metal door frame to the sill. ?I think then it builds up and overflows in to the trailer when it gets higher than the sill (about 1 inch metal piece sticking up from the floor). ?The seals on the door work fine, so no water except at the bottom sill where it is collectiong. ? I have the dutch style door with a top and bottom piece, of course.

I'm not sure there's an easy solution to this, but thought I would ask if anyone had any ideas how to prevent this from happening? ?I now keep a towel at the inside sill side to soak up any water migrating inside. ?

Thanks,

Debbie

I bought a 2013 ranger15 about a year ago.I had a leak in my camper near the door I thought was coming from a faulty door seal, replaced door seal and it still leaked. So I thought it was my cargo door seal since water was in there and the puddle was at corner of door and in cargo door, replaced cargo seal.Nope that wasn't it either. After much head scratching I found the leak .Where the aluminum threshold is there is two pieces of aluminum that run up the sides of the door.I thought this was one piece, nope.these three pieces are separate. They are caulked in the corners. The caulk failed letting water in on ?that one corner.I recaulked both corners and it's been dry since.I was surprised to find out this wasn't one piece .

That's a good thought. ?I'll watch those areas closely,
Thanks
