Wedding Plans (Klaus/Tatia)
Tatia spent most of the last few weeks avoiding thinking about the future as she'd found it depressing to consider being forced to pretend to be someone else. Of course, she knew that her new friends had been right that people weren't quite ready for the idea of someone who died a thousand years ago suddenly coming back to life. Even she was still having a little trouble processing.?
?
But now, here with him none of that mattered because she not only had someone who knew all about her past but also didn't need convincing it was possible for a person to come back from the dead. She could be herself without need of a good ¡®cover story¡¯ that she felt would inevitably cause friction in a relationship. There simply were no words to convey how much this all meant to her.?
?
¡°It all seems so much like a dream. I never thought¡¡± She looked to Klaus with a lingering smile as the two headed towards his vehicle. While her feelings for his brother were quite genuine there would have always been a part of her that secretly wanted a life with the man next to her.
?
She climbed into the passenger seat settling in as the door closed with her gaze almost instantly returning to him as he got behind the wheel. ¡°So, first the dress and then¡¡± There were a few details of modern weddings she had learned of after discovering an old scrapbook Caroline made as a little girl.? |
Klaus couldn¡¯t believe this was really happening. He ffelt the same as tatia felt.??It all felt like a wonderful dream. He gotten in the vehicle and set forth towards town.??He knew he have to do a bunch of Conpelling of people to get this wedding set up quickly. ? He looked over to tatia seeing she was so happy and just as excited as he was.??though wedding were done differently in the old times he knew this would have to be a wedding she probably wasn¡¯t to familiar with.??He said ¡°wedding are a different experience than they were in our time. Though some things are the same. Regardless a dress for starters as for everything else let me take care of that.??you got any reuest while I get this wedding prepared. just think before the nights over ou will be m wife. I couldn¡¯t be happier.¡± |
Tatia tried to recall as much of the scrapbook as memory allowed so as to better know what to expect from a modern wedding. But in the end all that truly mattered was that at long last they would be husband and wife. It was a thing that should have happened long ago and might well have were it not for her having mistakenly listened to the advice of his mother.
?
¡°I know a little of weddings these days as Caroline¡¯s daughters were showing me an old scrapbook of hers.¡± She remembered being surprised at how it was all planned out right down to the smallest detail. Leaving only one thing to chance¡the identity of her future husband. But apparently that was sort of her ¡®thing¡¯ or so she'd been told.
?
If it were any other time she would found herself watching the scenery as was so often the case but instead her brown eyes remained fixed on him. ¡°To be honest after what a little birdie told me¡I am curious to see what you choose.¡± Not everything she'd been told was bad as Caroline mentioned those rare moments when he either chose a dress or piece of jewelry that impressed her.?
?
¡°I confess, I haven't given much to weddings since my return, but¡I have always sort of favored the outdoors. Perhaps because it seems the most familiar.¡± In a world where it was all so different she found herself drawing comfort from the little things as means of coping.?
?
Her smile brightened at his mention of how the night would end. ¡°Always and forever.¡±? |
Klaus listened to Tatia as she spoke about the scrapbook.??He said ¡°that caroline has always beena planner.??So it doesn¡¯t surprise me that she had a whole scrapbook.¡± He raised a eyebrow when she mention what a little birdie told her.??she said ¡°oh really what have you been told.¡± ? He had a idea of the perfect spot outside to do their wedding by the lake.??It seemed like the best and romantic place he could think of. He ave to compel some people to set it up while they were getting her dress..??he looked at her and reached over and take her hand.??He said ¡°yes Always and forever.??Our wedding want be something as big and elegant as it should but I promise it will be special. In truth just you being at my side is all I need.¡± |
¡°The little birdie might have mentioned the way a certain someone tried to win her heart.¡± Tatia could still recall the hours spent asking questions of Caroline when she first discovered that not only was he alive but fate had delivered her to someone who had known him and could give her some idea of what he was like after all this time. ¡°She even showed me the drawing you gave her.¡± She understood the mixed feelings the others seemed to have about him and even his siblings once their shared history was made known, but¡when she'd seen him again it all seemed somehow less important as there was little doubt whether she was safe. There was a fleeting moment when she had even considered asking whether he¡¯d wished it was the blonde here with him now but she'd dismissed it. She smiled at the way his hand closed around hers. ¡°I have no doubt of that.¡± Of course, their wedding would be special to her no matter whether it was a simple ceremony or as he¡¯d put it ¡®big and elegant¡¯. ¡°I feel the same way.¡± All that was important to her was having him by her side. |
Klaus listened to her as she spoke about how caroline talked about how he had tred to court her.??he said ¡°I cant deny any of that. though I think m best courting was when I was trying to court you and win your heart.¡± He smirked at her. he could remember several things he had done to court her.??he hadnever thought he would of seen her again let alone finally get to be with her.?? ? He pulled up to the dress shop.??He looked at her and said ¡°I cant wait to see you in your dress. Holding your hands and marrying you.¡±??He smiled and got out and around to open her door. |
Tatia closed her eyes briefly at the memory of waking to find herself in the woods in a spot she somehow knew to be where she died a thousand years ago. That feeling of utter panic as she desperately looked around searching for a familiar face and the terror the thought of seeing Elijah inspired. But why think of this now? Perhaps it was only natural this too would be remembered.?
She shook off all such thoughts in favor of the future she imagined having with Klaus and a smile returned. ¡°It was just¡¡± How to express what she was thinking in that moment as a denial wasn't what she'd been seeking. ¡°While hearing about it did cause sadness¡it was also comforting in a sense because with everything else I was being told¡well, to me, it proved the man I loved still lived.¡± Then with a smile she responded. ¡°At least the wait won't be a long one.¡± She knew that after a thousand years it should be easy enough to wait a little while longer but with how badly they both wanted this that was hardly the case here. Leaning in closer she placed a quick kiss on his lips before he exited the vehicle. Climbing out as the door was held open she reached out gently slipping her hand into his. |
Klaus listened to tatia as she spoke. He couldn¡¯t imagine everything she been thorough. He was happy to in the mist of all she had gone through knowing he was still around brought her comfort. He watched here for meer moments before kissing her. he didn¡¯t want the kiss to end but pulled away and got out the car to come around to help her out. ? He took her hand gently to help her out.??he said ¡°no our wait will not be long. Soon I can call you my wife and I could not be any happier.¡±??He stroked her cheek lovingly.??He turned to the dress shop. Holding tatia hand in his gentle and protective grip he lead her to the door way. ? As they approached a women was exiting and saw they ciouple. She was a beautiful blonde she wore a elegant outfit and could be mistaken as a supermodel.??She smiled and said ¡°oh im sorry but we are closing up for the night.¡±??She watched the couple with her beautiful blue eyes. She could tell they were deeply in love. She was a hopeless romantic so it always made her happy to see couple so much in love. ? Klaus was alittle frustrated at the development.??He looked at the womans name tag ¡°Samantha¡±.??He looked into her eyes and said ¡°surely you can make a exception this time.??You would like to let us in. you would like to help my fianc¨¦e find the perfect dress.¡± He stood back still holding tatias hand. He would never let her go again. ? Samantha blinked briefly as Klaus compelled her. she knew it was wrong but smiled and said ¡°on second though come on in.??im a hopeless romantic.??I think I got some beautiful dress you will love.¡±??She open the door to let the couple in. |
Tatia was concerned that her decision to become his wife might cause a rift between the two brothers who always seemed so inseparable. It would be hard not to have that thought enter her mind with everything she'd been told. But she loved Klaus far too much not to see this through, after all, they deserved a chance at finally living ¡®happily ever after¡¯.
She slid her hand into his as she exited the vehicle with a smile on her lips. ¡°Nor could I.¡± There was a short pause as soft brown eyes looked up into his, silently wishing that she could convey everything that was in her heart but words seemed inadequate at the moment. Her smile only brightened at the touch of his hand on her cheek. As they walked hand in hand the world felt less frightening than it had since she stumbled out of those woods. From the first moment she saw the woman exiting the building she'd already begun to consider other possibilities but strangely enough all it had taken was a few words from her fianc¨¦ to change her mind about letting them inside. She supposed it was what Caroline had called ¡®compulsion¡¯ as she'd never seen it done or at least not that she was aware of. ¡°If it's not too much trouble.¡± The response was almost pure instinct even as she was never one to want to cause a problem for someone else. |
Samantha smiled at Tatia.???She said ¡°its no problem really.??Like I said I am a hopeless romantic.??That¡¯s one of the reasons I run this place.??So please look around at the dresses.??I can help you if you want.??Plus im sure you like to surprise this lucky gentlemen.¡±??She smiled againa as she turned the lights back on to reveal the elegant wedding dresses. ? Klaus smiled at tatia as she was polite to Samantha about letting them in.??he said ¡°we really do appreciate you opening back up for us.??We just cant wait to get married.??You can say its been a long wait for me to finally have the woman I love at my side.??We couldn¡¯t wait much longer.¡±??He followed them inside.??He smiled at tatia and said ¡°I want be far go ahead.??Ill try not to peak.¡±??He kissed her gently before reluctantly letting her hand go. |
Tatia recalled the rare occasions when the others persuaded her to come along on one of their shopping trips. It really wasn't such a bad experience in itself but always left her with the fear someone might realize she wasn't quite¡¡¯normal¡¯ with her knowledge of all things modern still a bit limited. Quietly peering inside as the shop was illuminated once more revealing a wide collection of wedding dresses. On more than one occasion while out with either Caroline or the others she'd looked through the window never once thinking the day would come she'd ever have need of one herself. ¡°If you're sure.¡± Her gaze returned to the woman as the offer was accepted.? She stepped inside taking a quick look around before her attention was ultimately drawn back to Klaus. Had her reluctance to leave his side been that obvious? Perhaps it had. It was difficult to tell and it was a conversation better suited for another time when they were alone. ¡°Promise?¡± Her concern more for being separated than about his peeking something she felt almost certain he would pick up on. She returned the kiss then reluctantly let his hand slip from hers before moving to join the woman who offered her assistance. Brown eyes carefully taking each dress in as she did. |
Klaus watched tatia as she looked around before entering.??He could tell she was alittle uneasy but figured it was probably normal.??He followed her inside along with the other woman and said??¡°I promise.??If you need me all you have to do is call to me.??I want be far.??I want lose you again¡±??he kissed her hand before letting her go to examine the wedding dresses. ? Samantha watched tatia as she examined the dresses.??She walked up beside her.??she said ¡°any particular you think you might want or looking for.??I might can help.??im sure you want to take his breath away.??After all??he is quite charming.??You are a lucky woman.??I can see he loves you so much.¡± |
Tatia was well aware that it was perhaps a little insane to feel so uneasy about something so simple as interacting with other people. Had it been all those centuries alone¡trapped on the Other Side? She was fairly certain there was a time when the young widow was seemingly carefree. Could she find that again? Be that way again? She hoped so.
She offered a smile in response to his reassuring words, not wishing to give the appearance of someone whose first impulse was to retreat (something she hated to feel). But being there with Klaus, knowing all she had to do was call out and he would be at her side¡helped calm her nerves more than she could have hoped to express. ¡°I feel better just hearing you say that.¡± When they parted she tried to stay focused rather than allowing her eyes to wander over to Klaus as she felt sorely tempted to do. Perhaps because a part of her still feared it to be a dream. Her gaze drifting from one set of dresses to the next finding herself more to drawn to the more simple, yet elegant ones. They seemed more¡her. She turned her head slightly when spoken to, offering a kind smile. ¡°I do appreciate the help. I suppose I am one of the rare ones who didn't have this day all planned out.¡± It was close enough to being true. It went without saying she used to imagine becoming his wife though the meddling of Esther had kept it from becoming anything more than a daydream until now. Her brown eyes instinctively moving to where Klaus when he was spoken of. ¡°As I love him.¡± Fate had brought them back together after a thousand years apart so she knew exactly how lucky she was. Easily becoming distracted in that moment. |
Klaus watched tatia.??He couldn¡¯t imagine the things she had been through on the otherside let alone being back to the world of the living.??He didn¡¯t want to lose anymore time without her.??he had already made arrangements to have the private ceremony set up.??A few quick texts and things were in motion.??He wished he had more time to make things more elegant for tatia.??Though he was sure she didn¡¯t care.??The both of them just wanted to be with each other. ? He nodded as she went with Samantha to look at dresses.??Though they were separated every sense he had was wide open.??He would not lose tatia again.??He protect her. he be sure the past would not repeat.??Thankfully his mother wasn¡¯t here to get involved again. ? Samantha smiled as tatia looked through the beautiful dresses.??She saw the dress she picked out.??She said ¡°its okay not to be fully prepared. Some people usually isn¡¯t.???some just want to be with their special person.??Im a die hard romantic.??So hearing??how strong your and his love is.??It just makes me happy.??I wish I was that lucky.¡±??She took tatias hand gently.??She said ¡°come on let see you in that dress.¡± She smiled as she helped tatia to the dressing room to make sure the dress fit. |
¡°I have this friend who had every detail planned out in a scrapbook she made as a little girl.¡± Tatia told her with a smile trying to feel more at ease though recalled conversations centered around a secret council left her feeling uncertain as to how much could be said about herself without tempting fate. Assurances had been made that as a human she was in no danger from them but what of Klaus.
¡°To me....that¡¯s what¡¯s most important....being with that special someone.¡± Which wasn¡¯t to say she was opposed to everything else as she¡¯d seen several photos of weddings that were absolutely breathtaking. She just wasn¡¯t as focused on all the details others seemed to get so wrapped up in. Her eyes briefly went to where Klaus stood then turned back to Samantha. The dark haired woman allowed herself to be guided towards the changing room with her chosen dress in hand. She was nervous and also happy, a combination she supposed was perfectly normal for someone about to get married. It was different than the first time as this time it was about love.? Once the door of the dressing room was closed she began changing out of the clothes she was wearing and into the wedding dress. It was a sleeveless number with shoulder straps, a little lace on the bodice, and a loosely flowing skirt that reached down to her feet.? |
Samantha listened to tatia and nodded.? She said ¡°well there are certainly those out there that plan every detail of a wedding and can get kinda nasty when they don¡¯t get their way.? I rather be surprised and not? have every detail planned.? If you have everything plan then it becomes a chore and not a special occasion.¡± She watched tatia change.? She thought tatia was a beautiful woman and that Klaus was lucky.? She said ¡°so if I may ask how did you two meet. Did you know he was the one when you saw him..¡±? when tatia finished she said ¡°wow¡¡± she examined the dress and said ¡°it fits you perfectly its like this dress was meant to be worn by you. what do you think¡± |
Tatia quietly reflected on the ¡®romantic comedies¡¯ she¡¯d watched upon the recommendations of her new friends.? There did seem to on occasion be scenes where two women got into an altercation over a wedding dress or even the bouquet though with her limited knowledge of how things went in this era she couldn¡¯t say how accurate any of it really was. So, she limited her response to a simple nod. ? ¡°To my way of thinking if a person spends months or even years obsessing over every detail then it¡¯s more about what everyone else will think. Which isn¡¯t how it should be because the day should only be about the two who are getting married.¡± She felt like too many people forgot about that in favor of either impressing their own family or that of their intended.? ? ¡°We met not long after the death of...¡± She paused choosing her next words carefully so as not to give the wrong impression. ¡°someone in my family. I hadn¡¯t decided to mourn in the way that was expected of me and while others seemed a bit judgmental...he never was. I remember going for long walks in the woods...dancing together without music.¡±? ? The memories brought a smile to her face, one that only brightened as the next words passed her lips. ¡°I knew it from the moment I first laid eyes on him.¡± It was a response that hadn¡¯t required any thought regardless of past decisions she¡¯d made it had always been her truth. Letting her gaze return to her reflection briefly. ¡°I think it¡¯s perfect.¡± ? ? ? ? |
Samantha watch Tatiana and listen. She said " I agree I seen so many bridezilla it isnt funny. When it comes down to it the ceremony is for you two. Sure some get crazy but some do just what they dream of the day to be like." She did a few flirting for her and smiled as Tatia moved in front of the mirror. Samantha listened and could feel alittle jealous as tatia talked about her and klaus love. She wondered of she ever have that.

Samantha said " sounds like you two been through alot. Sounds romantic listening to it all. I can see he loves you alot. Sounds like you two are going for the American dream heading for a house with a white picket fence and children running around.. well if you want children that is. Though that's none of my business." She smiled walking up behind tatia. She said " wow your beautiful. I think this is the one. Want me to do you hair and make up."
|
Tatia didn¡¯t quite know what to make of the word ¡®µþ°ù¾±»å±ð³ú¾±±ô±ô²¹¡¯ as it honestly sounded like some kind of monster. On some level she wanted to ask what it was exactly but that little voice inside her head cautioned against asking that sort of question of someone who didn¡¯t know about her situation. So, instead she offered a quick smile in response, one she hoped masked the uncertainty. ? ¡°That we have.¡± Some might call it a miracle...that two people who had gone through everything they had would be here making plans for their wedding. She shifted a little uncomfortably at the smiles she¡¯d been given and wanted nothing more than to be back at Klaus¡¯s side. It was a feeling she couldn¡¯t explain nor shake. ¡°I think, right now, all we really want is to spend the rest of our lives together. Anything else, well, we¡¯ll cross that bridge when we come to it.¡± The life the other woman spoke of didn¡¯t sound half bad but she had what was important to her...Klaus and the promise of a life together. ? As she stood there looking at her reflection in the mirror her arms wrapped about her waist something done to prevent her from fidgeting. ¡°Oddly enough I have never worn much make up...except for the occasional time.¡± She wasn¡¯t certain whether either thing should be done or perhaps it was just how anxious she was to be with the man she loved instead of ¡®²¹±ô´Ç²Ô±ð¡¯ with a stranger.? ? ? ? |
Samantha watched her as she seem confused for only a second when she mention bridezillas. She paid it no mind. She could tell tatia was a simple woman. She smiled back at her.
