Trouble Brewing in the ¡®Big Easy¡¯ (Saraya/Jenna/Lexi/Anna/Amara/etc)

Saraya entered the old rundown looking plantation house that had become ¡®³ó´Ç³¾±ð¡¯ to a handful of coffins where the formerly deceased now returned to the land of the living lay sleeping. It was highly questionable whether it was a wise decision to set this particular plan into motion with who she suspected was behind their resurrections. Should they be doing this? She honestly couldn¡¯t say. But what she did know was that if her father hadn¡¯t been in mourning he never would have struck a bargain with The Hollow.

?

A single word fell from her lips as she walked into the parlor lighting the candles that lined the room. ¡°Incendia.¡± She thought about reaching out to the vampire who ¡®°ù³Ü±ô±ð»å¡¯ the city of New Orleans but it wasn¡¯t something that could be done directly as such an action would undoubtedly put her family¡¯s safety even more at risk. But if she were to wake those held within those coffins and they were to stumble into the French Quarter...well it might provide her with a much needed loophole.?

?

Ordinarily she¡¯d never go against her father¡¯s wishes but the kind of magic he was practicing to pull all of this off would destroy him from the inside out. Like him, she would give just about anything to have her mother back but...this wasn¡¯t the way. Her mother never would¡¯ve wanted this...not after having witnessed the price one paid firsthand when her own sister had delved into dark magic to save the life of a lover. Perhaps it was the family curse?

?

She gave a sharp nod to the blonde haired man who entered just after her then watched as he left to insure his departure. The leering looks he always sent her way made her skin crawl and were reason enough on their own to be glad to be left alone but in this case she also hadn¡¯t wanted any witnesses for what would come next.

?

The dark haired twenty something year old preceded to check the rest of the house to be certain she truly was alone before going into the room where the coffins were kept. She knew it was a dangerous gamble but hoped at the end of the day that it paid off. Slowly moving to the center of the small circle of coffins she opened each one knowing the panic waking up to a coffin lid might cause then started her preparations.?

?

The spell to wake them took the better part of an hour but had been successful though in its aftermath she did feel quite drained. Her eyes moved from the bewildered blonde to the Asian ¡®²µ¾±°ù±ô¡¯ then over to another woman who¡¯d spoken a single word..¡¯·¡±ô±ð²Ô²¹?¡¯ But the name was met with a look of utter confusion by the one she¡¯d addressed. No surprise there because if she¡¯d gotten her facts straight the brunette was the former lover of the immortal Silas.?

?

¡°I¡¯m sorry. Jenna? Is it? But I believe her name is Amara.¡± Her words would start a rather lengthy conversation with the five women in total that she¡¯d awakened where introductions were made and questions were asked. She just hoped it was enough to accomplish what she¡¯d set out to do without arousing anyone¡¯s suspicions. Now all she could do was pray that at least one of them found their way to Marcel Gerard before it was too late.?

?

She¡¯d done all she could. Provided them with the information that was required and gotten them an Uber to be certain they all go into the Quarter. Now all that was left once the stage was set to sell the idea someone had attacked the plantation house was to wait.?

(OOC: finally finished this damned post to get the ball rolling on stirring things up. Hopefully more posts to come here and in other games while I¡¯m out for work resting and hydrating like the doctor said to do. Four of the five women are Lexi, Anna, Amara, and obviously Jenna. Haven¡¯t decided who the fifth is yet.)

Lexi exited the vehicle with others not far behind giving a cursory glance at their surroundings. While her last visit to this city had been years ago the sights that greeted her weren¡¯t entirely unfamiliar as she¡¯d known almost instantly their ride had let them out in Jackson Square. So, they¡¯d arrived at their intended destination. The French Quarter. All that remained was somehow locating this...Marcel Gerard who the witch thought could be of some help with her family¡¯s predicament.?

?

She drew in a deep breath as she thought about the last thing she remembered before everything had gone black.? They¡¯d been here. Her and Stefan. He¡¯d helped her locate a witch willing to create her a daylight ring. It was something she¡¯d always been somewhat envious of her friend for and had even jokingly offered to trade her favorite mood ring for Stefan¡¯s daylight ring more than once. The blonde felt panic slowly settling in as those memories raised a very troubling question. Where was Stefan Salvatore?

?

Her hazel green eyes drifted back to the others. It was still eerie seeing HER standing there even with her knowing this wasn¡¯t another doppelg?nger. No, she was the reason they¡¯d come into existence or rather the immortality she¡¯d once had was. While she hadn¡¯t particularly cared for Katherine Pierce she¡¯d honestly kind of liked Elena Gilbert.?

?

She looked from the former handmaiden to the vampire, Jenna, who hovered close by. No doubt finding it difficult not to see her niece whenever she looked at her which would explain her need to both help and protect Amara.

Anna¡¯s first instinct was to go off on her own but the fact she still cared for Jeremy made it feel as if it were her responsibility to look after his aunt who needed someone to teach her the ropes since her death had come so soon after she was turned. ¡°So, how exactly are we supposed to find this Marcel guy?¡± Her gaze periodically going to Jenna who seemed to be struggling a little. It could be a result of her heightened senses or the bloodlust which could be absolute torture for the newly turned who hadn¡¯t had the time to learn to control it.

?

She doubted that any of them particularly cared for being drawn into this situation but the fear of what could happen if The Hollow were successfully resurrected was a powerful enough motivator. Tipping her head slightly as she regarded the blonde then looked to the witch in their midst. It still freaked her out a bit being in the presence of the one who¡¯d created The Other Side.

?

Quickly looking to Amara who seemed just as uncomfortable being around Qetsiyah although her reasons were no doubt entirely different as those two had actually shared a history.

OOC, am I supposed to play Marcel here, can't remember. I will probably suck but yeah...

"I don't think this Hollows thing has anything to do with dreams.? It's resurrecting the dead...including dead vampires, which isn't logical as they should be mortals again going by what your sister says.? Felix, are you listening to me?"
The tall lanky young man with a thick Bulgarian accent and intelligent looking face even without glasses was speaking to an equally tall yet more muscular red haired young man who was busily scanning the street ahead of him.
"What? Nah, I wasn't really listening." the red head said.
"You had gotten boring, and you know how badly I do with boring, Ig...Now help me look for...anything that seems to stand out."
"Like what?"
"You'll know it if you see it...instincts, Man. You've got to develop those instincts."
?
Igor sighed.

Amara gave their surroundings a wary look having had little to no time to adjust to these modern times in the brief period that passed between the moment she¡¯d been revived by Silas and the point at which her two thousand years in purgatory had come to an end. She worried it would all start again but the witch, Saraya, had informed her that the Other Side no longer existed. It was a small comfort knowing things were different but to return and find herself in the presence of her former mistress once more was concerning.?

?

She appreciated all the help that Jenna provided as it kept her a little grounded and kept her panic at bay. All of these sights and sounds were a little overwhelming, something she could tell the other woman could relate to given she¡¯d been afforded no time to adjust to life as a vampire before being sacrificed as part of a ritual. Taking a few slow, deep breaths to steady herself. Her brown eyes slowly taking in the sights of Jackson Square.?

?

It was hard knowing there was someone out there using her appearance...her identity to carry out some nefarious plan with one of two end goals...to kill an innocent little girl or see to it that all their planning paid off and that this...Hollow could be resurrected. What did it want? Why that little girl? What threat could she possibly be to its existence? Her brow furrowed slightly as these troubling thoughts kept coming. ?

Jenna tried to remain focused on the girl who looked so much like her niece because if she allowed herself even a moment where that concern wasn¡¯t in play then all of her heightened senses and her emotions would likely drive her to just curl up into a ball in some darkened corner because life as a vampire was a whole new experience. She still recalled every second of the night she was turned and subsequently killed.

?

She sent a side long glance towards Anna, whom she¡¯d remembered as having briefly dated Jeremy before her mysterious disappearance during the Founders¡¯ Day celebration. If you didn¡¯t count the brunette with the uncanny resemblance to Elena the only familiar face was that of her nephew¡¯s ex-girlfriend who she¡¯d actually kinda liked.

?

How was her family doing? Had Ric looked out for them after that night? Oh god! Was he okay? He¡¯d known about all this stuff long before she had and probably would¡¯ve gone after Klaus for what happened. There were so many questions she needed answered about what happened after her death.

Qetsiyah walked a few paces behind the others as she didn¡¯t quite feel a need to socialize. Her mind was on the tale their ¡®°ù±ð²õ³¦³Ü±ð°ù¡¯ had told and their instructions to find a vampire by the name of Marcel who supposedly had the resources to help the young witch stop The Hollow¡¯s return without endangering her family.

¡°Wonder where we find this...Marcel?¡± Lexi didn¡¯t expect the others to answer as the small group of women had yet to prove overly conversational. But who could blame them? Find yourselves mysteriously back from the dead one minute and then magically put to sleep by some wacko cult that serves someone called The Hollow...didn¡¯t exactly put a person in a very good headspace.

¡°Maybe check local bars? Seems like a good place to start.¡± Anna had her doubts about the welcome they might receive from the vampires who called this city home if they went around inquiring about this Marcel who was said to be the ruler. Of course, she was also a little concerned about the part where his bite could even kill an Original.?

?

She exchanged looks with the blonde as she picked up bits of a conversation about the dead being resurrected and a mention of The Hollow. Following her lead she slowly began looking around for the two men as their little group came to a halt. It wasn¡¯t clear whether they¡¯d have a fight on their hands when they located these people or potentially someone willing to help. Fortunately they had a powerful witch in their corner.?

?
Marcel took a breath of the night air, staring at the screen of his phone.? Of late there was always trouble, especially if Rebecca had a bright idea that may put him up against Klaus.? And could he really leave right now? HE sighed, knowing he probably would anyway, though with so much happening here it may not be wise.? Perhaps just for a night.
OOC, I really don't know him that well so hopefully the interactions will be fast so I don't screw it up. Only watched Originals once and it's been a while.

Amara tipped her head to the side as she noticed a building with an odd looking ¡®²Ñ¡¯ on the outside of it. She remembered something the witch had said about the place where he¡¯d once called home though this place gave off strange vibes. She looked to Jenna who had sort of become her support system since the moment Saraya awakened them.?

Jenna was equally aware of the conversation the other two vampires had caught wind of but she had to distract herself with things that were a little more tangible as being around so many people was proving difficult as she hadn¡¯t fully mastered being a vampire. Closing her eyes she took a series of deep breaths slowly exhaling each one as she struggled against her bloodlust. When someone stopped to ask if she was okay it jarred her a little bit but she managed a response. ¡°Ummm...yeah. I¡¯m good. But actually there is something that you can do for me...could you tell me where I might find Marcel Gerard?¡± She figured it was a shot asking.

?

The two had a brief exchange that ended in directions being given which both Lexi and Anna took note of in spite of being somewhat distracted by their search for the source of those male voices that had been discussing The Hollow.

Qetsiyah was in the dark about what her vampire companions had overheard but she caught the way her former handmaiden was looking at one of the buildings. ¡°Odd.¡± The single word her only response as she didn¡¯t much care whether the place bothered Amara, in fact she might even derive some small sense of pleasure from it.?
