Locked Donovan Residence (Rayna/etc)

Rayna was mildly suspicious of whoever was behind their seemingly miraculous return from the grave despite being grateful that she'd been reunited with her father. It just didn't make sense why anyone would bring either of them back to life. What could they possibly hope to gain? Unfortunately the answer continued to elude her and maybe a part of the huntress was thankful for that fact.?

?

It was the first of many curve balls she dealt with though her relationship with Matt Donovan was by far the most surprising. He¡¯d found them wandering on the edge of town and put a roof over their heads. Not a move she'd expected with their history and his connections to a few of the town¡¯s vampires.

?

When asked to help restore the Founders Council with better training neither hesitated to agree to lend a hand with this endeavor. The three of them sat down to discuss the terms as even though the sheriff hated vampires there were certain ones he wished to remain off limits.?

?

She didn't have a problem honoring his request so long as no one started dropping bodies. If they did, well then¡all bets were off. Something both she and her father made clear from the start as their first concern was the safety of the people of this town.?

?

The brunette walked through the living room of the house the trio shared knowing that her father was either out and about or in his room reading a book. Perhaps she would head out later or maybe wait for her boyfriend. That word still sounded so odd even though it's precisely what Matt was to her.?

(ooc: forgot to include it in the subject line but there's also a tag for Matt in the Katrina/Nyssa thread)

Rayna continued into the kitchen not completely surprised to find no one there as these days her father spent much of his time either reading up on the world or engaged in training sessions with those they promised to help. Just as she reached for the refrigerator door her cellphone pinged forcing her to abandon the previous plan of preparing a sandwich.
?
The huntress reached into her back pocket grabbing the small device and checking her messages then quickly typing out a response.?
?
//Katrina¡¯s coming for a visit?//
?
It wouldn't be the first time her fellow huntress paid them a visit since arriving in town six months ago. She always seemed eager to hear stories of the past no matter who was doing the telling.?
?
She placed her cellphone on the kitchen counter turning back to the refrigerator and carefully selecting each item for her sandwich. Her thoughts often returned to the old days when she secretly craved being able to enjoy life a little and now she had all that.?
