Locked The Journey Through The Circles - Part 2

Rudolph Yerbler had to admit that the Circle of Lust has never been his favorite place. He should not have been affected by it at all, being immune to Hell's mechanisms after completing his training, but in this layer of Hell he often felt rather uncomfortable. The winds forcing his long blond hair in different directions seemed to have a bite to them that was intimidating and infuriating at the same time.? He had no doubt that the witch Mary Sibley felt?even worse when the image?of John Olden that would occasionally manifest in the win would make her shriek as if she were in agony.

?

Rudolph himself had many false images acquiring substance and striking at him with brute force in the past, but at this time to his considerable surprise,?the?elegant youthful face of Salome presented itself and instead of?flying towards him?with all the due fury and needing to be dispelled, it lost its grim expression that every face wore in this place, began looking startled and then utterly vanished from sight.

?

In fact, the winds began in themselves outlining a shape familiar to him, that of Aguares. That was something bizarre, the demon lord with the crocodilian tale may have been the softer of the?Circle overseers, but he never showed himself so openly to Rudolph. Something?very unusual was taking place here,?and?stranger still, the lines of the song Crowley had mentioned began floating back into his mind, vaguely recognized from his sojourn on Earth.??

?

"Made my way to past a man's hollow
Even though it was too soon,"

?

Rudolph slowly repeated the lines to himself and realized that for him, the comfort of the subsiding winds was not too soon in the least. There was more, he began to understand briefly, what his mentor had meant, without the Mark of Sorrow pressing on him so harshly, his?ability to think?was beginning to work once more.

?

But all that could wait for another time, he knew, as he made the wind targeting the witch soften into a slow breeze. He did not need to talk to her, Mary's knowledge, artless little spells and even play for power were all insignificant here. The one important part here was her conflicted feelings, incredible passion coupled with fear, sadness, rejection, hurt, and a certain possessive love Rudolph could never have understood himself.

?

It helped being so close to a woman whose willing bargain to be a witch made her easier to read. Her feelings may have been complex enough for any sane person experience, but Rudolph did not need to live through them, only to reproduce them as he drew his Lovers card. A woman dressed in Victorian cloths reclining?in an arm chair,?with?white wings sprouting somewhere upwards, half converging onto each other in an eager embrace. And?next to her, a gentleman?wearing an utterly alien looking, Roman toga, with black wings pointing downward.

?

Although that was?only the first draft, the yellow haired demon found it pleasing for its contrast and the?darkly diverging energies it invoked.?Returning Mary Sibley to suffer the scourge of the winds, once he no longer needed her, Rudolph proceeded with his second, draft, slightly tilting the eyes of prospective?Lovers askance. Then, completing the image with a carefully constructed semblance of Crowley himself over the pair and?symbolizing his presiding capacity over the couple with?unnaturally long wings given to his master, Rudolph smiled in satisfaction.

?

Drawing on the?torturous energies of the Circle of Lust, he invested them in his?Lovers image, and fed the feelings experienced by?Mary Sibley to the angel figure he had depicted, hoping that would be enough to ensnare him in a tangle even angelic powers would find hard to unravel. Rudolph wanted to experiment with a few more angles but whichever final draft he chose, at least he would now have something useful to take back to his boss.??

Locked The Journey Through The Circles - Part 1

"You poor thing," Rudolph Yerbler dryly commented, in a pale imitation of his master, as he watched the middle age man attempting to fend off an African lion with the magic of an Elder he no longer possessed. "All that magical knowledge of your so utterly wasted?in Hell. The funny thing is you could not have taken the lion down even with all of your magic intact, he is but a form of illusion crafted by the demon Lord Valefar for your benefit. So maybe you would be ready to talk now, eh Gideon?"

?

The?yellow haired demon?banished the illusion with a wave of his hand and the curly haired man slowly relaxed, recognizing his occasional patron?and greeting him with a smile. He was quite intelligent truly when allowed to use his intellect but then being an Elder of the White Lighters?classified him as a sorcerer and in this Circle of Hell?it meant never ending hallucinatory visions that threatened to break the strongest mind control. Gideon would have ended up similarly to his colleagues and adversaries alike,?but Rudolph knew how to nurture helpful minds with an occasional intrusion into their torment and the former Elder certainly proved his?value on several occasions.

?

"Do you know how things are outside, the girls, Leo, has Wyatt grown..." Rudolph mournfully shook his head at Gideon's hopefully optimistic questions. "Trust me, my friend, nobody among the big guns truly cares about this silly New Age trio or their progeny. We have had in this Sorcerers Circle several Triads, Sources of Evil broken, not to mention that we made both Tempus, Balthazor and even Zankou?cry like?abandoned little babes. You must get it into your head that all the major players you have known as a conniving little Elder don't pose any threats, and are no concern of yours. The faster you get over your silly notions, the faster you could move on through the higher Circles and be more useful to me. Speaking of which, it is time for you to answer my questions,"?Yerbler spoke soothingly and?saw Gideon losing?the nervous edge that came from a virtual eternity of?fighting against illusions.

?

Looking almost wistfully at this dimension of Hell he found most comforting because of his long time?self identification as a warlock. Rudolph cast a protective circle and began voicing all the information he possessed. He did not know how to connect it, what questions to ask, but talking to an intelligent trustworthy man?he almost felt relieved, even without gaining any extra insight. The strange tune he remembered Crowley humming even started playing back in his head, especially that part about centuries. Slowly, so very slowly, the Mark of Sorrow began retreating for his forehead and Rudolph allowed himself a small smile as an idea began to bloom in his mind.

?

He would draw the angel and the demonness into the likeness of Paris and Helen, with love altogether present, being supernaturally strong, and yet just as evidently disastrous for any involved including their very selves. If he did it right, he could still imprison the two, without even resorting to the ominous powers of treachery that we conspicuously?pouring down from the Ninth Circle. "I am?afraid their relationship, while witnessed, is not widely understood," Gideon sadly admitted, understanding that his ignorance would?put an end to the interlude and let his torment return, that was the condition of his temporary freedom after all.

?

"So truly,?Zankou crying out loud,"?the former Elder decided to end the conversation with a graceful?joke. "Yes, begging for the first Oracle that was his nanny?to come and comfort him. You should have seen the proud demon reduced to so much whining," Rudolph returned the favor of an amusing conclusion and then, with a wave of his hand let the African lion illusion return.

?

"If you ask the animal for a good familiar, that could help," the?yellow haired demon advised on an impulse and was rewarded with an appreciative smile. "Thank you, Master," Gideon formally bowed and proceeded with the required ritual. Rudolph was not sure why he consented to let him?progress unlawfully, but?then?nothing was more appropriate than breaking the rules in Hell. And besides, he had high hopes for?an agent who was both crafty and obedient. Based on Crowley's steady complaints,?such traits were never easy to come by in the most promising of demons, and Rudolph?saw no reason to ?doubt a single word his overlord uttered in front of him.????

?

His next Circle of Hell, Lust?was going to be less pleasing than the one for Sorcerers but?it would be more profitable for his drawing than any other, and a demon had to do what a demon had to do. Envisioning a tunnel leading upwards, Rudolph vanished out of sight and continued on his journey. ?

Locked Re: Back at the Hotel (Cordelia)

Cordelia was near drifting off to sleep in spite of the glowing screen of her laptop and the information it contained. This was one mystery she was desperate to solve as it had that whole 'fate of the world' vibe, and yet she could hardly keep her eyes open. Carefully placing it on the nightstand while debating on whether to continue fighting to stay awake or give in. But before the Seer could make up her mind another vision was upon her.
?
However, this time she not only saw the rising of the headless horseman from the depths of the river, but also a man with shoulder length brown hair and dressed in clothes from that same time period only he seemed to have been buried inside a cave. There were glass jars filled with strange items arranged around his grave each one shattering as he claw his way out. Flashes of an old bible. A name spoken by a redhead 'Ichabod'.?
?
While her previous visions came with a sense there was time it could be stopped this one felt as though it were happening at this very moment. ?"Oh crap!" She sat up straight on the bed taking a deep breath attempting to gather her thoughts. Why couldn't things just this once have been able to be cut off at the pass instead of rapidly approaching the pulse pounding terror she so disliked?

Locked Re: Back at the Hotel (a call for help)

Castiel slowly nodded. He'd heard the old stories of course, of how Lucifer created the demons, relying on the already extant creation of angels, but it was never clear to him exactly which process was involved in such creation. According to some of the old legends, the Almighty breathed his own air into inert matter as he conceived the first archangels, and if that was true, what kind of foul potency could Lucifer breathe into the?matter that later turned into demons, was far more obtuse. Castiel had asked his elders about the matter, hoping to gain an insight into the demonic nature, to be able to exorcise Princes of Hell?themselves with such an understanding, but receiving several quizzical looks, ceased his inquiries and?left such a task for his betters, who may or may not have the understanding themselves, but certainly had greater brute strength behind them.
?
It was strange perhaps, how interacting with mere mortals forced him to reevaluate all the basic assumptions he'd possessed. About the Universe, the process of Creation, the nature of demons. He took such things for granted once, and now was paradoxically in a relationship with a demon, because he learned to see things differently. Such an irony might not, at the end, endear him to the Winchester boys, but he enjoyed it completely. At this point, the angel of War did not harbor much hope to understand the demonic essence any better, did not even care about vanquishing them blindly anymore, but was still curious enough to inquire, in case the opposite side would prove more forthcoming.?
?
"Yes, I am aware he is the Father of all demons. Only I was never entirely clear on how he made them, or if his innuendos could contain grains of forgotten truth alongside the falsehoods. ?Does anybody living truly understand what went into making the very first demon? I certainly do not, even though I had attempted to be forewarned about those who used to be my sworn enemies. And if he didn't do it with some pure thought or magical powers, could he not conceive in the flesh as he'd hinted, and even if I'm veering off track, is it not equally possible that he'd attempted to suggest something indirectly which we could use?during our mission. I certainly never know with Lucifer, but thought such matters worthy of consideration," the angel grimly admitted.?
?
But then, the conversation was over as they entered the diner and?Castiel was most willing to let his question go. He may have had to hide his wings, but the human fa?ade was reassuringly familiar to him more so than all the covert operations of recent days.
?

Azie blinked A few times, baffled by Castiel's explanation and not bothering to hide it.
?
"You're all bonkers if you ask me," he muttered, loudly enough to be heard nonetheless.
?
?
"What," Halbrek asked Castiel when he mentioned Lucifer, then she chuckled.
"Depends on how you look at it. He is the father of all demons in a sense, Love."
?
She idly took his hand as they walked, turning her head to regard Azie as he came up on her other side.
?
"I only discovered Lucifer's presence when I noticed his traces in the main cemetery of this odd little town in which we now walk. Whatever is happening here is so big it draws his concern as well."
?
That tree she knew now but best to feed Azie small bits at a time.
?
"That's the diner I think," she said, turning into the next parking lot they approached. Azie wrinkled his nose thoughtfully.
"I don't think I'm hungry," he decided.
?
Before they entered the place Halbrek's wings were a cloak just as Castiels became a long black trench coat. Azie's fox like features became a handsome young man's face with thick short red hair. He wore a fine suit, perhaps out of fashion but bursting with fineness all the same.
?
He moved forward and held the door for the other two with a flourish.

"Seems to me like some kind of a game those two are playing, although I am never particularly certain about the rules or the goal. The game appears to consist of trying to make disgustingly perverse comments about each other, I would not have believed him possible of it had I not watched it myself. Does he ever try to distract his minions by being obnoxious on purpose? Sorry, no offense fox face, just, well almost impossible to wrap my mind around that kind of humor really... at least I sincerely doubt they really have any such strange kinship as could be deduced from his ridiculous comments. You are not related to him Halbrek, not truly, is that right," Castiel suddenly turned to his companion, almost needing some?confirmation in the face of the bizarre exchange.

?

The angel of War?had to wonder briefly if Halbrek's concentrated gaze denoted some measure of disapproval, but this relationship thing was too new for him to be certain, not to mention that he never fully had an understanding of regular human emotions before the relationship even started.

"Daughter,"Azie asked, arching a red fox like brow at Castiel in incredulous amusement.
?
Halbrek watched, gaze unwavering until Lucifer had completely vanished before turning to the other 2, nodding to Castiel's words, a slight frown on her face as she tapped her right thigh with the tips of her fingers.
?
"He's alive...I mean I always supposed he was...he's Lucifer after all, but you both know...that most other demons don't know that, right," Azzie said, mind partly on the fact? they all probably held some very dangerous information at present. the other half of his mind wondered what this Cordelia could tell them...and perhaps if she was pretty. He liked wiktches. They were loads of fun in the sack. Did a seer count as a witch? All depended on personality really, he decided.
?
Halbrek was busy giving the angel some meaningful look so the fox demon was free to contemplate such matters as he followed them from the room, pausing to lock up after them. Did they expect him to do everything?

Lucifer frowned at first, trying to bring back to mind which one Kellirek may have been. With all the senior demons, he could usually visualize their common names, used for reference in the Demotic Script, the energy signatures behind the names, the possibility to contain the energy with the name and rule it completely. But this demon might?have been below his radar in the past. Picturing his energy, or what he looked like when?assuming an active?form was beyond the arch angel. Until he considered the possible meaning of the demon's name, and nodded his understanding. "Ah yes, the ruler of destruction, a hereditary title. I remember his far removed ancestors, they were inhabiting the skies of my hell when I first landed there, such fabulous predators they have been even before they became true demons...I will keep?Kellirek in mind, thank you, daughter," Lucifer smirked his famous infuriating smile and was gone back to the infernal regions.

?

He could not even decide which matter to attend first, the witches, the discomfortingly recovered Book of the Damned that with its energy drainage problem, may have had something to do with his recent memory problem.?He used to remember every single demon he had made, and those recruited, all about them, their abilities, alliances, and possible interactions in the immediate future. And now, now he almost felt like constructing a smaller demon to help him arrange his memory better. He would have done so a long time ago, if only he could ensure?sufficient loyalty in such a creature. Perhaps when he had more time he could address this issue better,?but now was not the time, as well he knew. At least some of his troubles might, hopefully begin to be taken care of with his authority delegated to lower echelons.

?

****

?

The angel of war grimly regarded his partner when Lucifer left at last. "I am still not convinced if we ended up better or worse than before, but it might be good to have things in the open. And yes, I am very ready to meet Cordelia. You see, it just occurred to me that I had only a few ideas on how to find the rider of Pestilence and his ring. I was thinking to involve human hunters, or, to be brutally honest, follow a blood trail of human bodies?the rider would leave behind, but perhaps Cordelia could offer us a different option, if her psychic powers are not too overtaxed at seeking out such a powerful entity..." the angel added?after some?hesitation. ?

"I am careful around most angels,"?Halbrek replied dryly to Lucifer's warning,
?
She couldn't help but throw Castiel an amused look. She trusted him completely...and almost completely trusted Gabe and Mikie, but only almost.
?
?
"Kellirek is loyal and would help you if you're seeking out others," she told Lucifer, then bending to the circle smiled faintly.
?
?
"Good luck, Father Lucifer," she said, and dropping her hand to the floor rubbed out? part of the line forming the summoning circle, banishing the higher ranking demon, only because she knew he was allowing it.
?
With a sigh and tired shake of her head the red haired demoness straightened and looked at Castiel with a slight smile.
?
"Well," she remarked dryly.
?

?
"That was fun. Ready to meet Cordelia at that diner now?"
?
In part she was waiting for him to share his thoughts and worries for surely he had some, but she would not be so negative as to directly ask for them.

The Lord of Fire slowly considered. There were so many images circulating through his brain, corresponding to the various pieces he set on the board. He had many ideas, advices, warnings he could give, but some of them would be too early to appreciate, others unlikely to be understood, and others still would lead, hopefully, to valuable errors. He could not afford to getting it wrong and settled for something that was the least likely to backfire.

?

"Beware of Gadreel. He may wish to offer recompense, he may be sincere in his desires to help, but his intentions are still tainted from his early encounters with dangers he could not comprehend. So make sure you never trust him entirely even if you recruit him for the less secretive?parts of the mission. Otherwise, that should be all," Lucifer sardonically smiled,?hints of fire beginning to blaze?in his eyes at the prospect of future developments.

Locked Re: Back at the Hotel (a call for help)

Azzie kept his face respectful, eyes considering and cunning as Lord Lucifer spoke. bullshit was what the fox demon was thinking as he silently calculated that which he was beginning to rapidly understand. In essence that sure thing he had a choice...right. He had a choice, but he'd damned best choose well. If he made the wrong choice...well then. That would be a problem. Bowing to Lucifer he nodded briskly.
Then Castiel continued to speak and pose making very unCastiel like homosexual slurs just to impress Lucifer likely...Well not to impress but perhaps to keep up. The demons to which Castiel referred were a concern, though. Entangled in one another as they were, Ashtaroth nor the Gray Shadow would be of any use to anyone else. Both had been straight before meeting...before making physical contact. And Azzie still had to wonder if someone had them under a thrall to keep them out of the game. Still Ashtaroth was Castiel's friend so if the angel truly believed that would he not be doing something about it? Ah well it was no concern of his.
?
"Sure I;ll stick around,"Azzie Elbubv said casually, shrugging. He appeared unconcerned. And perhaps there was no reason for concern at that, but either way he was very good at faking it.
?
Halbrek nodded briskly, stepping forward.
?
"Will there be anything else before I send you on your way before your presence draws too much notice," she asked Lucifer, tone all business and little respect, Azzie noted with a little interest and a lot of scandalized inner reaction on his part.

"Indeed?!" the angel of war offered curiously. "I suppose demons could die at that. but for some already bored folks like you, would that not constitute an improvement of sorts," Castiel suggested with a hint of a smirk. Satisfied to see his demon friend horrified, the angel smiled even wider as Lucifer smugly explained himself to his subordinate.

?

"Oh no, dear boy, you have not fallen out of favor at this time. You have done your duty well, and will persist in your good work, I am sure. I am not ordering you to serve the angel in the least. I am merely not forbidding your cooperation with him. The rest is...up to you. If you need to help your friend who also happens to be an angel, so be it, I will not stop you, because I am aware of your friendship already, and my interests at times coincide with those of the angel. Then again, if you are feeling?reluctant to accept the angel's need of your company, you are more than free to refuse and return to where you came. The choice is yours," the Lord of Fire reassured, all the while sadly remembering innocent looking?cohorts of demons in the?past who were swayed by Abbadon's promise of easy prey and because of their taint could no longer be entrusted to make the right choice in the way the fox demon could be.

?

"Besides, it's not like you have anything better to do right now," Castiel interjected again. "You are not seriously considering going back to the faggots and guarding them from non existing danger, are you? Did you not mention being bored already, now a few more days of such occupation and your fate would be worse than death. Your mind would simply go mad, then numb, and you would become of no use to anyone, even yourself. Isn't it better to accept my leadership instead," the angel wondered with?an exaggerated?serious look those who knew him well would identify as mocking.

Locked Re: Back at the Hotel (a call for help)

Azzie yawned.
?
"I know about Gabe and the pigs. It's his way of remaining...chased I think. Now can you please stop boring me and lets get down to the good stuff," he implored.
"A demon can probably die of boredom, you know," he said, then slid a look to Lucifer who he greatly r expected and straightened his shoulders a little.
?
"How may I serve my lord," he asked, ignoring the friendly banter with Castiel for the moment to direct his full attention to his lord.
?
When Lucifer, seemingly and horrifyingly seemed to redirect him to Castiel, Azzie's eyes widened in horror.
?
"Please Lord! You aren't saying that I have to take orders from him are you? Not an angel, Lord! Have I displeased, Lord? If so please allow me to offer my mosts humble of apologies in their deepest and most heart felt sincerity."
?
Halbrek looked up from her phone and bit back a smile, watching the interplay with mild interest. She rarely worked wit others or socialized with them either but Castiel had changed that some and everyone knew Azzie. While she didn't always trust him, she felt at ease in his presence.

"My woman has always been smarter than me," Castiel responded non chalantly. "that is how she knew of me being a worthy partner for her, probably before I knew myself," the angel seriously added, his black eyes gleaming with barely concealed excitement. "Worthier angels than me, well that puts you into a rather untenable position. You cannot even imagine what some of the worthier angels do, what gender and species orientation they choose

but then again, maybe you could imagine, you are guarding after all a rather unusual couple. Could that perhaps imply your own perverse tendencies," Castiel wondered, his joke delivered in an entirely neutral tone, as he'd watched his charges doing, for the taunting words to be considered successful.

?

Lucifer stared into his subject, fascinated for an instant at how different impurities could be. In some demons, they boded for an adversarial attitude, but for this one, they only boded well. Sulfur had chosen his guards sagely. Wondering what would come of the intersection of energies in Azzie's essence, Lucifer slowly shrugged. "I think?this angel had?a greater need of you this time, ironically. Well, cannot blame him for acquiring the appropriate taste for the right side, can we?" Lucifer concluded with a satisfied smile. ??

"Your woman is smarter than you are of late, Castiel,' Azzie chided with a laugh.
"She promised me pretty girls. I'm already in! But," he added, eyes gleaming with interest.
"I am ready to help stop whatever trouble wants to stop our fun. I've worked with or rather against worthier angels before, but you'll do...Especially as I'm not working against you right now."
?
He leaned back casually against the wall, expression...just one of taking it all in. It grew serious once again as soon as his gaze passed over Lucifer.
?
"Anything else for now with that,Lord," he asked.
He wasn't?foolish enough to risk displeasing Lucifer by being careless even if they were taking a turn riding the other side of the tracks as it were.
?
For her partHalbreck watched with an impassive nearly bored expression, while silently hoping Castiel wouldn't let the other demon get to him...either of them. And this...Halbrek thought dryly and with conviction, is why she always worked alone.

Castiel skeptically regarded his fox friend and shook his head in negation. "God does not expect anyone to grovel, unlike some people, he gives us free will!" the angel of war solemnly declared, fully believing himself in the validity of his statement. After all, there were benefits to serving his side over the other, and fair dealings with God had to be part of those, he'd assumed. Castiel did not have personal experience with the highest echelons of power, but he'd heard a sentiment like that from some reliable sources and firmly believed that Azzie was wrong.

?

He was going to unequivocally state his opinion when the damn demon distracted him with his hint at flirtation. Castiel did not enjoy his little innuendos, even if Halbrek remained immune to his foxy charms for the time being. After all, fox was that animal most notorious for his amorous pursuits and things could always change. Taking petty satisfaction at the fact that Lucifer seemingly took his time before encouraging his subordinate to get up from his obsequious gesture was one of the few things he could, although showing?off his erudition was a pleasantly close second.

?

"You know Pestilence, he is one of the riders of the Apocalypse. Cannot be all that much fun for you. We, angels are immune to his powers but you, dear Azzie might not be. More fun like this, and you wouldn't survive to get back to your pretty ladies," Castiel happily reassured, hoping his words?combined with the task ahead would distract?the fox demon from making his move on Halbrek.?

"If? it were god, you'd be groveling," Azzie told Castiel resentfully, before looking up, peeking rather, at Lucifer as if for permission to rise before doing so slowly.
?
"Of course as you know I am glad to help. None of us want to see our pretty playground ruined," Azzie said.
?
Then with a thoughtful expression, tilting his red fox featured head to the side he inquired,"Of course...if there are any pretty ladies involved it would be all the more interesting for me...Would there be any pretty ladies..variable damsels in distress?"
?
Halbrek smirked, shaking her head. She was a pretty lady she supposed, but decided not to be offended because she most certainly was not a damsel in distress nor was she in any way interested in Azzie Elbub.
?
"There could be a few," she answered carefully.
?
"But first, apparently we only need to relieve the current incarnation of ?Pestilence of his ring of power...Where ever he is."

Azzie grinned.

"Well yes," Lucifer slowly admitted unable to hide his surprise in a timely manner. "Job got around, in many ways he was part of the forest, could walk like a shadow, and step with the winds. Some say, could even take?animal forms at will, although none of the greater races. None of which helped him against the Tree though," the arch angel?concluded almost smugly.
?
"Pestilence?has?great powers and big?plans, but all of them can be unraveled if he is unable to communicate with his precious sickness demons and use their combined might to capture that no good angel Rafael. So all it takes is to get his ring of Power, and he is all but useless?again. Not a great challenge under ordinary circumstances either, but precautions must be made to stop such annoying distractions on behalf of our enemies..." the Lord of Fire declared like a well practiced politician lecturing for the benefit of his voters.
?
Disgusted yet interested despite himself, Castiel began paying more attention to the mad ramblings of the arch angel when the popping sound announced the arrival of?yet another demon friend of his. "Seems to be more about the world coming to an end or something to that effect," the angel explained with a skeptical look at Lucifer. <Oh stop that,> he was going to add since Azzie never bowed to anyone, but remembering the hierarchy of demons, Castiel only sighed his regret at the annoyance before proceeding to outline their needs,
?
"Whenever your knees are tired from bending, we need your foxy help at this contract affair..." the angel sadly shook his head indicating his disapproval of such unnecessary formalities forced onto him.

"Yes I am aware of the story of Jobe," Halbrek said.
"Brother to owls and companion to dragons, was it not?"
?
She threw the quote out, frowning in distraction.
"You;re saying you want us to...capture pestilence, or kill him or what?"
?
The 4 horsemen could be reborn again and again as needed so killing them wasn't as big of a deal as it may sound. She was drown from her frowning distraction by a popping sound from the middle of Castiel's summoning circle. A red haired man with distinctly fox like features stood there, frowning at Ccastiel, red fur and hair perfectly on end.
?
"What gives, angel," he demanded, patting at his mussed fur ineffectively.
?
"Has the world come to an end or are you just t hat bored," he taunted with a grin, though his eyes did gleam with curiosity.

Lucifer noted with interest the arcane symbols used by the angel in his summoning. The omega?sign to the?left?was rather efficient, representing death, chaos and fertility all at once, an abbreviated word for the encounter of two elements in its generality.?The astrological confluence presiding over the summoning was doubtlessly expressed through the stylized versions of Canis Major and Canis Minor on the sides, while the red tail at?the center made the spell focused on the specific energy of the fox demon. A beautiful, harmonizing spell, to Lucifer's mind, that required no corrections.?
?
Satisfied that no corrections were needed, the Lord of Eternal Fire turned back to the demonness, regarding her with?the mixture of respect?and incredulity often reserved for prodigy children. "Well, you are familiar with the story of Job? You are not, I forget, Well, your friend here knows?it well and could tell you about the infinite suffering that could result from an unrestrained tree. But a top priority, I would not call it that just that. I am actually more concerned at present about a witch who considered itself to be the Lamb of God, releasing?Pestilence?before its time. A nasty bugger that would prove to be, especially when used by opportunists like Molokh..." Lucifer thoughtfully predicted, for once absolutely sincere in his concern. ??
