Re: Mystic Falls Cemetery (Hope/Miranda/Kol/Davina)
As Davina sat there in the passenger seat listening to every word as she struggled to keep from begging Kol to get them as far from this town as possible. But she knew he wouldn¡¯t leave his niece to face this on her own and she couldn¡¯t ask him to either. Her thoughts turning to the very real fear of this being how she would lose Kol but she couldn¡¯t say anything about it.? ? With a sigh, she resigned herself to knowing their travel plans were on hold indefinitely, quietly looking out the passenger side window as she knew if she were to look over at Kol ³ó±ð¡¯»å see the fear and concern in her eyes. It took everything she had not to cast a look his way when he put his foot down harder on the gas knowing it was likely a sign of his frustration with the situation.? ? ? ? ? ? _________ ? ? ? ? ? ? ¡°They figured out how to deal with ¡®The Hollow¡¯ because Vincent found a way of communicating with the one who killed her fifteen hundred years ago...Inadu¡¯s mother. She provided him with a spell that would lock ¡®The Hollow¡¯ away inside of an ancient book. So, they lured her into a trap.¡± Hope hadn¡¯t been present for any of this so all she had to go on was the account given by her aunt which she hoped would be enough.? ? ¡°Vincent bound Inadu inside a circle of salt to buy himself time to cast the spell but she managed to break the circle and destroy the book. She locked herself inside of me. Cue ¡®Plan B¡¯. Without the book you all needed another way of dealing with ¡®The Hollow¡¯ so it was decided that save me you would each take a part of that darkness into yourselves. You, my father, uncle Elijah, and aunt Rebekah. It¡¯d be the end of ¡®always and forever¡¯. It would be too dangerous for you guys to even be in the same city as each other.¡±? ? She avoided Miranda¡¯s gaze as she didn¡¯t want to risk seeing a sympathetic look in the eyes of a basic stranger. ¡°It also meant I could never see my father or any of you ever again because ¡®The Hollow¡¯ would try to get back inside of me.¡± Being without her father after having only just got him back had been hard and for a short while there had least been open community between them but that ended. S³ó±ð¡¯»å done some fairly desperate things all because s³ó±ð¡¯»å missed her father. ? Hope felt the tears stinging her eyes causing her to bow her head slightly to keep anyone from noticing. It wouldn¡¯t be easy to talk about but she knew she owed her uncle the whole story. ¡°I was fifteen years old when I cooked up a plan that would force my father to come home again. It worked. He did. He came back to find out who¡¯d kidnapped my mother.¡± ? She took a shaky breath trying to reign in her emotions as memories floated to the surface. ¡°She was supposed to be perfectly safe. I used a cloaking spell to hide her but...this vampire who considered hybrids to be abominations found where I¡¯d hidden her and took my mother. For a while we didn¡¯t know who had her but then they reached out and said that if I did the binding spell so that I couldn¡¯t create more hybrids they¡¯d let her live.¡± ? She reached up tucking her hair behind her ear without looking to see whether her uncle had glanced her way. It was just easier to tell the story if she didn¡¯t have to see the look on anyone¡¯s face. ¡°I was all set to do it with Aunt Freya¡¯s help when my father found out about what I intended to do and he wouldn¡¯t hear of it. He didn¡¯t want me going through what he had.¡± ? Her fingers lightly wrapped around the pendant of the Mikaelson family crest as if the act of doing so brought some measure of comfort. ¡°I ran away from school with a boy I liked who turned out to be Greta¡¯s son and he took me to this house in the middle or nowhere. Mom was there. Next thing I knew he was putting these chains on me that kept me from doing magic. He said everything would be okay if I just did the binding spell.¡± ? Without lifting her head she glanced at Davina who was still staring out the passenger side window. ¡°Greta showed up with reinforcements. Mom...they did the binding spell on her...she was in so much pain. But when they finished she got free...and attacked Greta. By that time my father showed up to rescue us but uncle Elijah wouldn¡¯t let him inside.¡± ? She drew another breath then exhaled a bit shakily. ¡°To understand why uncle Elijah was helping them over his family and the woman he loved you have to know that when you guys scattered he had Marcel erase all of his memories of ¡®always and forever¡¯...of all of us. But when he came through that door my mother thought he was there to save us instead he kept my father from being able to save her. She was pinned to the wall with Greta¡¯s hand literally on her heart.¡± ? ¡°To protect me...she grabbed ahold of Greta and threw them both outside into the sunlight. It took me a long time forgive him for her death. They eventually made him agree to letting Marcel return his memories. In the days that followed I convinced aunt Freya to help me bring our family back together. I created a Chambre de Chasse that I used to keep you all from stopping me while I did a spell to extract ¡®The Hollow¡¯ from each of you and draw it back inside of myself.¡± ? It honestly scared her a little to know what her uncle¡¯s reaction would be to all of this when she finally finished telling him everything. ¡°When my father discovered that it was killing me he came up with the plan of getting Caroline¡¯s daughters to draw it out of me and put it inside of him then ³ó±ð¡¯»å kill himself getting rid of it once and for all. In the end uncle Elijah chose to die by his side...he broke the white oak stake into two pieces and...they staked each other.¡± ? She was surprised s³ó±ð¡¯»å made it through talking about their deaths without falling to pieces but still she didn¡¯t look towards the driver¡¯s seat...to her uncle. ¡°It¡¯s my fault that my parents and uncle Elijah are dead. I have to fix it.¡± It was something that s³ó±ð¡¯»å never really forgiven herself for. ¡°If we can put ¡®The Hollow¡¯ inside Pandora¡¯s box before she resurrects herself I¡¯m all for it. Though I¡¯m afraid that I don¡¯t know anything about how she pulled it off outside of the fact of her having killed uncle Elijah in order to do it.¡± ? She thought briefly of Landon and the fight they¡¯d had over her plan to save her family. ¡°I know that when Inadu killed him aunt Freya put his spirit inside her crystal pendant and was eventually able to put him back inside of his body.¡± ? ? |

"I don't understand why you sorts...flip your
switch when things are made even worse if you flipped it in the first place
because they were bad," Mihnea said, accent growing thicker much as his father's

He nodded when she spoke of assuming the cut would
happen sooner rather than later.
?
"I remember something bout people getting food
after donating blood...so do you want to eat before or after?"

The question felt odd and he knew he was going
about things in a more complicated way to keep from making more enemies but if
some of these new vampires could be allies instead, as well as their witches, he
could mellow himself down a bit.

"If your doppleganger's body was burned, how the

magic. It is concerning," hea admitted.

slowly.

"Once I could have at any rate. I was once very

if I fail nothing will happen. I could take his image from your mind and we

Re: Salvatore Boarding House: Desperate Times (Bonnie/Enkil)
¡°Well, yeah it does...it¡¯s just...¡± Bonnie sighed out of frustration, things were just much too complicated these days and often required more of an explanation than she wanted to give. ¡°I¡¯m so angry with him. He took the easy way out...again. It wasn¡¯t any easy year for any of us. We all lost someone that we cared about but we were there for each other because that¡¯s what friends do.¡± ? It hurt that their friendship meant that little to him that he could just bail without so much as a second thought to the pain his decision would cause the people who cared about him. It was almost like when ³ó±ð¡¯»å decided that desiccation was the way to go until Elena woke up all over again. ? ¡°Sorry. I know you probably don¡¯t want to hear it.¡± She cast an apologetic look in his direction not fully knowing why s³ó±ð¡¯»å had that little outburst around a complete stranger who was there for her help not her issues with Damon. Turning a corner she moved to a closed door on her right carefully knocking before she pushed the door open and went into the room.? ? The walls were lined with shelves filled with books that were off limits to the students and at the far end there was a large window behind an antique wooden desk. Something she imagined was left over from the Salvatore brothers.? ? ? ? ? |
Re: Leaving Mystic Falls (Elena/Mihnea)
¡°If she was buried at all then I guess it would have been there but...it¡¯s also possible that when she died her body was burned on a funeral pyre.¡± Elena couldn¡¯t be certain either way though she suspected it¡¯d been the latter as she had no doubt that Esther would make certain she hid how Tatia died. It was still strange knowing that it¡¯d been Elijah and not his mother who killed her ancestor. ? ¡°It wasn¡¯t voluntary, no. It was just...¡± She shut her eyes against the memory of the sound of his neck snapping and his lifeless body hitting the ground. ¡°I think, no, I know that¡¯s why it happened.¡± If not for seeing that happen then she might never have flipped her switch as s³ó±ð¡¯»å had no reason to turn it back on after what s³ó±ð¡¯»å lost and the things s³ó±ð¡¯»å done while her humanity was off. ? ¡°I¡¯m willing to give it a shot.¡± She hoped his plan would work but if she wasn¡¯t his ¡®trigger¡¯ then it was back to square one because Damon¡¯s switch wouldn¡¯t be flipped. ¡°So, I¡¯m assuming that¡¯s gonna happen soon?¡± S³ó±ð¡¯»å already made up her mind that the cut would only be deep enough to draw a little bit of blood as she didn¡¯t care to explain things to a doctor.? . |

David frowned.

?
"In such a case my concern would be that these folk
who have been returned from the dead are going to be controlled by the one who
returned them. They are likely being put into place before the control sets
in."
?
His tone and expression were grim with concern. He
knew he should text his parents on this one, well mainly his father because his
mother wouldn't really care if it didn't effect her.

they hold high places in society or politics? Do they have any particularly

Re: Mystic Grille (Jamie/Kali/Mekare/etc)
?
Maharet struggled for calm and failed. Her half
blind green eyes flashed as she studied Pandora, seeing with her mind more than
anything else.
?
"You have no idea. We were there. Whatever could
bring that creature back is evil!? She was ignorant and evil and used her
power to hurt and kill a lot of people for a very long time. I think the more
power she got the more insane she became. It started with my sister and I, ten
thousand years of damage. She had us raped, my eyes torn out, my twin's tongue
torn out, and then she had us separated, set in stone coffins and cast a drift
on the ocean to end up a world away from one another for a very very long time.
But if you can condone rape and torment, how about murder? For she killed untold
numbers of our kind, the largest amount just before my sister returned to take
her down. And now she's back? You're telling me she's back and you dare to
defend her?"
?
?
Maharet was normally the voice of reason, but just
now her youthful voice was rising slightly.
?
Cherubic lips tight in sympathetic understanding,
Armand took her hand in his, giving it a squeeze and adding his own cold glare
to her angry one.
?
"And no for the record I do not believe the dead
should return though I threaten none here," he told Lucy.
?
He had no idea of her sin and doubted he wished to,
but if she and Akasha had both been resurrected, he'd bet it was something
ugly.
?
?
"You could do much harm harboring such as Akasha,"
he said, finally addressing Pandora.
?
?
?
Mekare's eyes moved from the girl on the stool to
her other side to her twin across the room.
?
"My brother in law there," she said, nodding
briefly to Armand, "Would say that if there is great evil in the world, there
must be great good to keep a necessary balance. I am not sure I believed him
much about that but today I hope he is right because we need all the help we can
get.? If this boogie man could not be killed, and he is not a vampire, I
have never herd of whatever he is. I've never seen anything fire won't kill and
if it didn't..."
?
She wrapped her arms around herself, struggling
against the old need to retreat inward.? With Armand's patient work and
then?Jarveth around she'd stopped doing that.? She never wanted to
leave Jarveth even to retreat inside of herself. As if pulled on strings her
eyes moved to find him on her other side and knowing her as he did, he gave her
a reassuring smile that caused her entire body to relax as she let out a small
sigh.
?
?
"Whatever it is, we'll find it and take care of it,
Mek," he said, hand idly traveling to the ax at his belt.
?
?
"We always find a way," he encouraged.

Re: Wedding Plans (Klaus/Tatia)
Tatia was caught off guard when the woman had admitted to being attracted to her but fortunately she was able to let that pass without having to offer a response. A woman being attracted to another woman was something she couldn¡¯t recall having been a thing back in her day and she honestly hadn¡¯t the slightest idea how s³ó±ð¡¯»å have handled that little confession had she been single. ? ¡°You think so?¡± She asked thankful when the subject shifted to how badly Klaus might want to start the honeymoon after seeing her. It was certainly something that when she thought about it she was too distracted to care about much else. When s³ó±ð¡¯»å gotten up this morning she never would¡¯ve thought s³ó±ð¡¯»å be getting ready to marry the love of her life. ? She wished things didn¡¯t feel as awkward as she thought the woman was making an honest effort at being her friend. If there hadn¡¯t been so many things she couldn¡¯t tell anyone about herself things would be different. That much she could be sure of. Taking a small breath before being led back out into the shop where Klaus was waiting.? ? |

I can see even though your a vampire you have a heart and good soul. Your also a damn good looking beautiful woman." She smiled and then sighed. She said " anyway I know what trauma is. I was attack by a vampire in front of my daughter. I was killed in front of her or so I thought. I woke years later in this base learning I was a half vampire from birth. When I fied that side of me woke. It's a long story. Anyway I sight out my daughter just to learn they turned my daughter. She wasnt the same. Re: Covington House: Bed & Breakfast (Lexi/Valerie/etc)
Lexi moved to stand with her back towards the porch railing carefully placing both hands on the smooth wooden surface. Her eyes focused on the brunette as she offered her condolences. She only gave a small nod in response not particularly feeling like discussing Stefan with a total stranger as it felt a little too personal too soon. ? One eyebrow rose at the reassurance she was offered about not wanting to kill her. It might have set her mind at ease if she trusted her but so far she didn¡¯t. At least the woman was keeping her distance. Though in seemingly the next instant she was distracted by what sounded a lot like some kind of pickup line which was impossible. Right? Either way she let it slide. ? ¡°I don¡¯t know that there¡¯s anything anyone can do to help. It was years ago that I came here to surprise my friend on his birthday. We went to this party some girl was throwing which we heard about from his brother. The sheriff and her deputies came up behind me at the bar...injected me with vervain and dragged me outside where they intended to kill me.¡± ? She still didn¡¯t quite understand why her death was a part of Damon¡¯s plan back then. Re: Mystic Grille (Jamie/Kali/Mekare/etc)
Pandora found that more often than not vampires were a bit over dramatic, a thing she supposed had to do with their heightened emotions. Maybe that wasn¡¯t the case here but she was hardly willing to buy into the idea of the woman being ¡®evil incarnate¡¯. ¡°I don¡¯t know about all that.¡± She had seen flashes of things the times when s³ó±ð¡¯»å touched Akasha.? ? Checking her phone to see if there was word about her missing ¡®houseguest¡¯ as she figured that Miranda would take it upon herself to track the woman down. ¡°I think there was more at play than either you or your sister knew.¡± She hadn¡¯t exactly been afforded the opportunity of getting to know the woman what with her being unconscious then gone but certain things felt clear to her.? ? ¡°Whatever or whoever brought Akasha back to life is ancient and quite powerful.¡± It was a feeling s³ó±ð¡¯»å gotten when she first touched the woman¡¯s hand trying to discover whatever she could about her. Briefly considering angels as a possibility but quickly dismissing the idea. ? ? ? ? ? ? ? Lucy chose to focus on what the others were saying because not doing so meant getting lost inside her own head. She needed some sort of distraction from all the pressure she felt to regain her memory which had started coming back in pieces. She still wasn¡¯t entirely convinced that s³ó±ð¡¯»å died at all in the first place but the others had little trouble believing she had. But dead was dead, wasn¡¯t it? Re: SH: Outside the Diner (Vlad/Jenica/Mina/etc)
?
Vlad wanted with all of his being to say that he
wouldn't have needed her help but a beheading...She'd prevented that? But at
what cost to her?
?
"I wouldn't have wanted you to go through all that.
I could've died and would have to prevent you having to deal with demons and
become..."
?
He stopped speaking, not wanting her to take that
as him seeing her as one of them because that wasn't the way he'd intended it to
come out. Mina tended to misconstrue his intentions of late, and he didn't need
two women he loved?angry at him at the same time.
?
?
The thought caused his gaze to move to his wife who
was staring at him. Peering hard as if trying to see through something, her
hands down from her face and one reaching to lie lightly on his
arm.
?
"You're talking like the real Vlad," she said half
to herself.
"No impostor would know that."
?
Her tone was quietly insistent as if trying to
assure herself and for that and for the Turks had done to her, to him, to his
sister, he could finish a thousand wars ending them all right now. His blood
boiling, he still had to remain still as he merely nodded to her.
?
"You promised never to leave me again, Mina. I need
you to remember that," he said tightly.
"I need you to hold it together."
?
He referred to Ilona's death and the way it had
twisted him up inside. She'd promised to be careful and never to leave him again
but if she was taken away mentally...
"Okay. I'm trying," she murmured with a small
shudder as she nodded back.
?
?
Turning back to his sister, Vlad asked, "How does
one fix this shattered mind spell thing? I have a mind to kill every single Turk
and I bet that would probably work," he growled, though he was open to his
sister's suggestions for a faster result.
?
"The witches who are not fans of vampires, they are
not Gypsies, then," Vlad asked, beginning to understand.
?
Reaching for Mina's purse he dug out the phone and
texted Franceska. //I need for you to be extremely careful. I believe we are
under attack. This is serious.//
?
He didn't need the dream police as it were after
him if anything happened to the girl and Renfield but oddly enough he would be
disturbed on a deeper level as well. As he'd once told Mina she reminded him a
bit of Bogden, the only real friend he'd ever had. It would displease him were
she to die.
?
?
"These descendants of Helsing, if they live they
can be handled," he added to his sister, distractedly.
?
"For now you remain with us."
?
One more person to keep safe, but he wasn't he owed
her that much and more. Something he would have to digest later. Mina would
surely have soothing words onthe matter when she was herself again. His gaze
returned to her and he suddenly felt lost and hated it.

Re: Cabin in the Woods (Max/Katherine)
Katherine regarded him with one eyebrow arched slightly as she debated whether it was confidence or foolishness that led him to believe himself a match for a vampire when there wasn¡¯t a full moon. But she kept these thoughts to herself as it wouldn¡¯t serve her greater agenda to create needless friction between them. ¡°Trying to impress me?¡± She asked with a playful smirk. ? Jenica for the most part ignored what was said as she fought to get a handle on her feelings of pain and anger. But at this point she didn¡¯t much care she was just done with all of it. ? I had to do something...anything.¡± She knew as the older sibling ³ó±ð¡¯»å always felt it was duty to protect her and maybe it was. ? She broke eye contact with her brother to look over at Mina who began telling her about Renfield and the book both being real. ¡°There¡¯s been talk among hunters that the descendants of Van Helsing and the others carried on his legacy. But I don¡¯t know if there¡¯s any truth to it.¡± ? ¡°Problem?¡± Her brow furrowed as she repeated the word. His choice of words combined with the fact he wanted none of them killed had made her curious. She slowly looked back to Mina with a raised eyebrow as she wasn¡¯t entirely certain what to make of what the other woman had said. ¡°Turkish mages...not gargoyles.¡± She hoped that cleared a few things up as they¡¯d been who s³ó±ð¡¯»å meant when talking of killing some in her demon days. ? Jenica stood there in silence as the two discussed the ¡®²¹³Ù³Ù²¹³¦°ì¡¯ and soon found herself saying. ¡°There¡¯s an old spell called ¡®shattered mind¡¯ but I can¡¯t say with any certainty whether this is that or just something close.¡± Her gaze shifted back to her brother who seemed proud of having witches under his command. ¡°See, thing is, as ¡®guardians of nature¡¯ most of them are not big fans of vampires.¡± ? S³ó±ð¡¯»å seen more than a few witches take a vampire down without a moments hesitation. They were definitely not to be screwed with. Though she didn¡¯t doubt there were some who were willing to serve her brother. ¡°You¡¯ll get no argument from me about the Turks.¡± Neither the centuries nor her time in hell had changed her feelings towards them, if anything she was far more likely to kill them now.? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? |
Re: Covington House: Bed & Breakfast (Lexi/Valerie/etc)
*repost* ? She walked the length of the porch fighting off memories of being dragged from the Mystic Grille after being injected with vervain. There was that moment when s³ó±ð¡¯»å thought it possible she might escape even after being shot with wooden bullets but then?³ó±ð¡¯»å?shown up with a wooden stake in hand. One word passed her lips as it was driven into her heart...¡¯°Â³ó²â?¡¯ ? While the chance to live again was something the blonde was grateful for it also proved a little challenging to adjust after having?¡®found peace¡¯when the Other Side collapsed. With any luck it would all get easier, after all, it was only in the quiet moments that she struggled at all. ? Tipping her head slightly as two sets of footsteps caught her attention, one that happened to be moving into another part of the house while the second set came towards the front door which opened shortly thereafter. One eyebrow lifted as she regarded the woman whose statement left her on edge. ¡°It¡¯s the one year anniversary of when one of my oldest friends died.¡± ? She kept herself on guard as it was too soon to tell whether this woman was some sort of vampire hunter or perhaps a witch with an axe to grind either way letting someone get the drop on her again wasn¡¯t at the top of her list. ¡°I wouldn¡¯t recommend tossing around the ¡®v word¡¯ so casually in this town because it¡¯s got a secret council who doesn¡¯t give a damn whether you¡¯re good or bad just being one is enough of a reason to get a stake driven through one¡¯s heart.¡± |
