Locked Re: At The Diner (Cordelia/Jessica/Castiel/Halbrek/etc)

Halbrek gave a soft amused laugh, giving Jo a wink.
?
"I mean the body shape has to be right. Tall, lean, yet strong...That's our Kellirek."
?
She turned her gaze to Cas then, openly trying not to laugh as Azi yawned.
?
"You know he says that never happened, so you're either really bad at shagging or lying," the fox demon told Halbrek.
?
He shot a look to Cas that plainly said he should win points for helping the angel out on that one.
?
?
For his part, Sam sat looking pensively out of the window.
?
?
"I mean what are the odds. Seriously," he demanded to no one in particular.
?
?
"On which point of interest,"Azi asked.
"Cause we have like 3 topics of conversation going on at once here," he said, gesturing to Cas and Halbrek, then to Cordelia's cell phone then to Sam.
?
"Mine,"Sam said dryly, shooting a glare at the fox demon. He trusted only a few demons and this new one did not yet come anywhere close to qualifying. Crowley on his good days, Halbrek, and Ruby...He closed his eyes briefly at that last thought, feeling his heart twisting in pain. So many losses, though she and Dean hurt the most. Dean was a constant ache that never went away. Like a twin attached to his hip the grief for his brother was now a part of who he was, ever there and aware.

Locked Re: At The Diner (Cordelia/Jessica/Castiel/Halbrek/etc)

Cordelia bit her lip to refrain from correcting her about the hotness of ¡®scales and horns¡¯ as neither of those things fit her criteria for that. Ordinarily she would have been quick to point that out but circumstances had her focus a bit divided. It was all a bit strange, like more than her usual level of strange.

Her brown eyes darted between the angel and demon mildly curious as to just how much of that was about either baiting or making him jealous. It also occurred to her it might in part be about making the three hunters present uncomfortable or a mixture of the two possibilities.?

Jo chose to remain oddly silent as she worked through a few things while texting her mother with various updates as they hadn't been in touch since the change of plans that occurred after they¡¯d heard from Jenica about a weapon that could swing things in their favor where a certain demon was concerned.

The blonde looked up from the screen briefly with a furrowed brow at the talk of ¡®scales and horns¡¯. ¡°Gotta disagree.¡± There might have been more that she intended to say on the matter but the message she received from her mother distracted her.

Cordelia looked to the blonde when those two words were spoken then noted what appeared to be concern on her face. If not for a lack of actual familiarity she might have asked about it but circumstances being what they were she'd decided against it. Maybe it was the years spent living in this world as a hunter that changed the way she reacted to most things these days.

¡°It could just be that¡¡± As she looked down at her cellphone when it pinged she forgot what she was saying. Not that was all that shocking for Jessica to have texted her instead of rejoining their little group but the mention of the name ¡®Spike¡¯ and a description that sounded very much like a certain bleach blonde vampire, who had last she'd known had switched sides, was somehow here raised a lot of questions.

She typed out the only response she could think of before hitting send.?

//Where is he?//

Her brown eyes turned a questioning look toward Halbrek as if her mind finally registered what had been said about two people being brought together again and almost forgot the comment had nothing to do with her. How could it? No one knew the subject of her texts.

The fingers of one hand lightly drumming the table as she awaited the next message from Jessica.

Jo cast a glancing look over at Sam. ¡°Could be another reason.¡± Part of her almost instantly regretted having said that because when he inevitably asked what that might be she'd have nothing to offer in answer. But with all he¡¯d gone through in those first months in the wake of Dean¡¯s death she wanted to steer him away from thinking the worse even though they'd yet to prove whether this was indeed Jessica Moore and not a shifter or the like.?

SH: Outside the Diner (Jessica/open)

Jessica stared across the small parking lot towards the diner with her mind spinning at the possibilities of what her ex-boyfriend having walked through those doors. Only it couldn't be him because Sam died in a helicopter explosion along with his brother. She'd read every article she could find out of a need to understand how something like that could have happened.?

She looked down with a heavy sigh at the recollection of how the reporters stated that both brothers had been in the process of being transferred by the FBI to some maximum security prison to await trial for their crimes. None of it matched with what she remembered of Sam. He wasn't violent at all. He was that ¡®sweet, sensitive¡¯ type that any girl would have to be nuts not to fall for.

Her life at Stanford, with Sam, gave her hope for a life outside of hunting. But it all ended with a late night visit from a demon wearing the face of a friend and a fiery death while pinned to the ceiling. Now this! Years later he shows up here of all places.?

She let out a frustrated sigh while leaning back on the trunk of her car. If this was something masquerading as someone a part of her still loved she'd make them hurt in ways they couldn't imagine.?

The ping of her cellphone offered a welcome distraction, hopefully it was one of her connections with some information that could be helpful. She pulled the device from her pocket and looked at the screen reading a text she'd gotten from a woman known only through her association with Serafina with questions about Cordelia.?

She took a moment to type out a quick response.?

//I don't know. I¡¯ll ask her if she knows this¡Spike.//

Hitting send she realized she wasn't quite up to another face to face with her ex so instead of heading back into the diner she sent her friend a text including the brief description provided by Gabrielle and waited for a response.

It was surprising how quickly she'd gotten back to her with the conversation no doubt being had around that table. One eyebrow lifted at such a shirt message which she could only interpret as him being someone her friend was familiar with though whether they were on friendly terms or not remained to be seen.?

All the message said was¡

//Where is he?//

Instead of responding right away to the inquiry she went back to her texts from Gabrielle. She took a quick breath then sent the following text..

//I guess she's open to seeing or at least talking to the guy.//

Her gaze briefly traveled to where there was a seemingly tense interaction going on between a man and two women. She wondered whether she should get involved or let them sort it out. Ultimately going with the latter as there didn't appear to be an immediate threat. Most likely arguing about whether to eat here or go elsewhere.?

(ooc: will work the texts/responses into other two threads. Just got inspired to write this post for Jessica first.)

Re: The Woods Of Mystic Falls (Akasha/Damon/etc)

Damon wasn't interested in leaving his back open to this new girl' so was in the midst of spinning to face her, but...Elena was there instead. No...Mind suddenly hazy, he blinked. It was difficult to recall the past minute or 2, to recall the 'new girl. What was Elena doing here? Something had gotten strange, but he didn't?remember why or what...Frowning he studied Elena...but how? The words seemed relevant, so he spoke them aloud.
?
"But how?"
?
Feelings attempted to boil to the surface in spite of his flipped switch, but the mind muddle worked in favor of said switch for now. The emotion in Elena's voice, familiar, and deserved as it was tugged at him, however, far more than he liked.

Re: The Woods Of Mystic Falls (Akasha/Damon/etc)

Akasha tipped her head with a look of amusement at what she'd managed to gather from his thoughts. Oh, there were certainly some juicy tidbits that could at the very least make for an entertaining exchange if put to good use. She appeared to be pondering his words though the reality was her mind was going over the words whispered to her while she slept of abilities she lacked prior to her death at the hands of that dreadful witch.

She went to circle him once more though her footsteps suddenly stopped leaving her standing directly behind the young vampire. With the faintest hint of a smirk the raven haired woman reached into his mind preparing for her next move. Once it was decided what she should do she answered his question, however, when she spoke again her voice was not her own. It was hers. Elena's.?

¡°Why would you even think that, Damon? With everything she's done¡¡±

She'd made certain that in his eyes her appearance would match that of the woman she'd chosen to masquerade as in that moment. If seeing her face caused even a moment of pain it was well deserved as he¡¯d failed this woman¡Elena the way her husband had failed her.

(ooc: he¡¯ll have figuring that out lol)

Re: SH: A House Of New Friends (Regina/Emma/Spike/etc)

Solomon Kane frowned in disbelief as he approached the overwhelmingly varied company. "Our patroness has never?failed to procure toys that were good. All of these people, to be our allies then? I would never have guessed," the hunter thoughtfully admitted?to his witch wife put loud, while realizing the irony of his own thoughts. Perhaps he has been too judgmental of late, Serafina needed more warriors and this lot looked like they could hold their own. It was only their good motivation that he questioned.
?
"A man, and a slayer, they are both apt descriptions of who I am, I suppose. Although my darling wife still fails to understand me completely, even after all these years.?It is nit the act of killing I enjoy, but the aftermath. Doing my duty, ridding the world of evil, doing my part to make the world a better place. I slay not because it brings me infinite joy, but because I can, and I am one of the few who can. It seems lately that?my list of adversaries was unending, and I trust it is all part of Serafina's?plan for the future.
?
Considering how many of you seem qualified to kill. What is this business with hearts, we are talking about, why heart above all other body parts? I personally found the head to be most crucial, well legs?and spine in some instances, a tail, horns, but hearts, very rarely. Interestingly nonetheless, how you shall utilize the ability for eradicate evil," Solomon's gaze passed speculatively between his wife and Regina, unsure of how his guardian angel was going to use the?unexpected set of skills, but willing to postpone judgment. For a little while.
?
His thoughts were not gathering as speedily as normal. It might have been the result of attempting to use the devilishly illogical language of modern days he was forced to pick up in Hell. Solomon even forgot why he came out here, and now the opportunity to question Sarah in private seemed to have?passed. He was not a trusting man, not around so many unpredictable strangers, even if they were all guided by Serafina herself, which remained to be seen, despite Sarah's conviction.
?
"So, are were gathered for a major undertaking, my liege? And should I summon David to join us?on this journey,"?Kane respectfully inquired of Serafina, with a slight bow that to his mind balanced well between self respect and?proper?subordination. ? ?

Re: SH: A House Of New Friends (Regina/Emma/Spike/etc)

Sarah pouted at Serafina's refusal, as she saw it to have any fun. Angels...Even the less straight laced ones just never knew how? to have fun. Solomon cramped her style and torturous urges enough with his silly jealousy and need to be good and ad an angel to the mix left Sarah not having fun other than in the bedroom in so long...so very long...too long.
?
?
That was perhaps what had her noticing the flicker of interest in Regina's eyes when it came to hearts. She gave the older woman a wink and fleeting cheeky grin, wondering if she could perhaps make for a more fun playmate than her sisters had.
?
?
Now certainly wasn't the time, though. It never was of late. Plopping down into a chair, Sarah's heals began drumming idly against the bottom rung of said chair as one hand came up to idly tug at the ends of her blonde hair. This lot even knew how to turn something as exciting as new comers into dull dull dull...
?
?
?
She brightened only a little when Solomon made his appearance. He was always lovely to behold, so rugged, lean and dangerous looking with hair that went on for miles like a modern rock star but he'd probably been having fun without her too somehow...that or likewise being dull...
?
?
?
"We have new people. Serafina will make them into toys but not good ones I could actually enjoy," she lamented openly.
?
?
"Board games are boring."
?
?
?
Spike's eyes narrowed at all of the women at the blonde witch's mention of making them into toys.
?
?
"That's usually my job, Love," he told her, showing fangs in a fierce smile.
?
"They call me Spike for a reason, you know...Lets say it has something to do with the way I enjoy killing people."
?
Sarah's eyes brightened in interest but Spike was distracted, intently, by the confirmation of the?mention of Cordelia.
?
"I'd like to speak with her...As soon as possible. A phone number or face to face, either way works," he said, trying to remain calm and hide his excitement over a friendly face from home...Well it was Cordelia so not specifically friendly...but he always liked a girl with a little...bite to her.
?
?
He hated admitting it even to himself, but this literal hell experience had made him lonely for home and those he had begun to associate with it. He'd gotten soft perhaps, he thought fretfully. Something had to be done about that soon. Very soon.
?
He nodded to the man when he came in. Guy gave off puritan vibes and carried himself like a damn good fighter. Someone Spike would've eagerly considered an enemy, and enjoyed taking down back in the day.
?
"Closest thing I ever saw to a male slayer," he murmured half to himself half to the company at large, eyes speculative as they rested on Kane's face.
?
Sarah giggled.
?
"Yes he slays a lot. For a good guy he likes killing quite a lot," she said cheerfully.
"That's one of his charms," she told Spike while batting long blonde lashes at? Solomon.

Re: SH: A House Of New Friends (Regina/Emma/Spike/etc)

Emma regarded each of them with a raised eyebrow surprised at how close in age the three women appeared to be. It made her curious as to whether some kind of curse were involved, like with her own family. But mostly these thoughts just offered her a distraction from growing concerns about the whereabouts of her son and the feeling of having failed Killian.

¡°Wait. THE apocalypse?¡± It wasn't something she'd ever heard mentioned outside of a few religious types who were no doubt mainly trying to scare non believers into being ¡®good little boys and girls¡¯ but this woman didn't strike her as the ¡®bible thumper¡¯ sort. Could there be anything to it? She shot a questioning look toward Regina who merely shrugged her shoulders.

Regina couldn't decide whether these people were just plain crazy or if there was actually something to it. One eyebrow slowly rose as her gaze fell on the formerly dancing blonde who claimed she could do something without the need of actually removing the heart and for a moment very nearly asked for proof of this. Perhaps at another time when there were less judgmental people around.

Only a brief flicker of curiosity in her eyes betrayed her thoughts. ¡°There's no¡¡¯mess¡¯ involved in the way I do it either.¡± She suspected that little imp intended to use someone else to fight his battles. It was the most logical conclusion. But for now she'd focus on what needed to be done.

Serafina turned her eyes toward Emma who zeroed in on one particular part of what was said. ¡°I¡¯m afraid so.¡± It might not have concerned her to such a degree if she felt more certain that her ¡®brothers and sisters¡¯ had nothing to do with setting these things in motion or at the very least that some were fighting to prevent it. ¡°The first seal has been broken. Maybe more.¡±

Her respect for his father was the sole thing that prevented her from kicking Dean Winchester¡¯s ass. If that idiot had stopped for one second to consider the reasons behind his being offered that chance to get off Alastair¡¯s rack then maybe, just maybe, they wouldn't be staring at the very real possibility the ¡®end of days¡¯ had begun.

She gave a quick eye roll at the series of questions asked by the witch. ¡°Tempting. But no.¡± While an archangel she was hardly a saint so the thought had crossed her mind as the vampire was certainly attractive but she was presently suffering from a slight case of ¡®one track mind¡¯ at discovering Eve¡¯s progress where the horsemen were concerned.

¡°As for your other question¡that's a no. We need him and the others to be on our side.¡± If Liana didn't return soon with information then she'd be going on a little ¡®hunting expedition¡¯ to get her hands on a demon who could be made to talk.

¡°Yeah, I think so. Why?¡± Gabrielle sent a look his way without concealing the mild interest his familiarity with the name had sparked. While the woman had obviously made connections in this world over the last decade or so the fact remained Cordelia was from an altogether different one.

Kara was preoccupied with her phone as she read through various emails from their contacts searching for any information that could shed more light on Eve¡¯s end game. But so far none of the hunters knew much of anything but all had promised to keep an ear out.

Re: Matters Of Science (Rebekah/Franceska/etc)

Franceska drew in a breath and let it out slowly.
?
"Well when you say not to hold back...I don't think you really mean it. Or at least you shouldn't. Because a scientist not holding back means you could die. If I try everything with no limits you could die."
?
"Or worse change far more than you'd like," Renfield added, tone quiet and dark but no less concerned for all its grimness.
?
Felix glanced up from his phone, wordless but expression serious for once, lending weight to the words of his sister and brother in law, disturbing for him as they were. All that science shit could get weird. Weirder than any dream, he thought grimly, vaguely annoyed and uneasy as he idly returned his glance to his phone and returned a text from Min-Min.

Locked Re: Plans To Escape: Leaving it all Behind (Kol/Davina)

¡°Trust me, not itching to ¡®poke the bear¡¯¡or anything but¡¡± Davina knew the risks of getting involved in a situation like this and for that very reason was primarily interested in gathering information to be passed along to those this latest threat may be headed straight for. ¡°I just¡I want to keep them from being blindsided is all.¡±

Truthfully she didn't know if she could remain on the sidelines if things got bad though a lingering fear of this being their last chance at happiness was a strong deterrent against taking a more active role. If she joined the fight then it would be tempting fate, there was no denying that. But if this ¡®threat¡¯ was headed directly at his family¡what choice would she have? He¡¯d never abandon them and she couldn't ask him to either.

She looked down as fingers laced with hers, knowing she was expected to make some decision in that moment. ¡°I say we figure out what THAT was and that be the end of our involvement because one of us always ends up dead whenever we stick around.¡±

(ooc: if only she knew investigating would lead to his nineteen year old niece from the future lol. She might think twice.)

Locked Re: Plans To Escape: Leaving it all Behind (Kol/Davina)

Kol swallowed, weighing options quickly and silently before speaking, hope and dread mingling in his tone.
?
?
"Well many things in this big bad world are probably more powerful than us by far and if we don't poke them they don't poke us. So we can try that option or...if you want? to do something else I'm listening so long as it doesn't get you killed."
?
He didn't want to listen. He wanted to run, but he knew if he regretted not? listening later there was no going back and fixing it. Lacing his hand in hers, he kept the other resting on the steering wheel as he waited.

Re: Leaving Mystic Falls (Elena/Mihnea)

Mihnea scoffed at Elena's Jekyll and Hyde reference, opening his mouth to tell her how the movies got it wrong, then snapped it shut again as a thought struck him.
?
"Wait...Jekyll...Well that was all about Victorian British suppression, and trust me my mom suffered from that as well, though she had an out eventually when she was far younger than the not so good and very suppressed doctor Jekyll. My point and my concern is this about your switch flipping. Jekyll did what he wanted to do when he took that potion. What he wanted to do yet thanks to Victorian British suppression, was always too frightened to actually act on due to very real and certain consequences. If this does work thee same way what if this switch of yours merely allows vampires to do whatever the hell they really want to do in the first place?"
?
?
?
Mihnea nodded when Elena explained how Bonnie would help and how she got the note to Damon.
?
"Her magic is interesting," he mused.
"Not the same as my father's gypsies or Rasputin's either for that matter...but different is good and lends more options."
?
And if hers was different, if the shit hit the fan, she'd not likely know what his father's witches or Rasputin could do either. Good all around. Though he hoped things didn't turn to shit. If this stupid Damon character could just be knocked back into line and to himself again...though his earlier concern tugged at the corners of his mind. What if this switch flipping merely allowed them to do whatever? they deep down wanted to do and simply not to have the conflict of fear or guilt that humans and even vampires loved so much.

Re: The Woods Of Mystic Falls (Akasha/Damon/etc)

Yep, she was crazy, Damon thought, emotions a mix of amused, annoyed and resigned. He knew crazy well unfortunately.
?
"I suppose you've never met anyone named Katherine Pierce? Not a bff or anything by any chance," he asked dryly, for this woman reminded him of another dark haired beauty who's middle name was Crazy-Bitch and her first name was Katherine.
?
This one spoke of being 66000 years old, but no. No vampire was older than Klaus and his siblings and they were 5000 or so years shy of that impressive mark.
?
?
Idly he wished he could text Bonnie about this new little development. His friend may want a heads up if Katherine + came wandering into town, then he remembered he didn't...couldn't give a damn about anyone, Bonnie included.
?
?
"So, what do you plan to do now," he asked, tone only mildly distracted as his mind wandered over all the implications of this one's arrival...here,. as well as why he should care.
The musing was a nearly idle tugging at? his mind, but something about her did...almost bother him. Perhaps he'd just kill her and get it over with.
OOC, he doesn't know, of course, that her type of vampire can read minds.?Oops I do seem to want to fuck with all my poor characters these days. LOL?

Re: The Woods Of Mystic Falls (Akasha/Damon/etc)

Akasha wore a blank expression in spite of having strong feelings on the subject of her husband. It was, as they say, complicated. She mourned his death while at the same time being positively livid at his failure to take action or even notice the behavior to be unlike her. ¡°As a matter of fact¡¡± Here she paused for added suspense as she rather enjoyed the thought of making him uncomfortable.?

¡°It was the first thing I did upon waking.¡± The raven haired beauty circled back around holding his gaze and there was the briefest look of sadness. It wasn't so easily disguised and despite her anger there was a lingering affection for the man. How could there not be after all this time??

She quickly shook off those thoughts then went on. ¡°I suppose after six thousand years of being trapped at his side it was time for a change.¡± As of yet she could see no reason to be completely honest about what really happened that night. Tipping her head slightly she posed the question. ¡°Why do you ask?¡±

She brought one hand up placing it over his heart in what could either be considered a seductive or threatening way. ¡°A rock? No. But we were kept hidden away for almost our entire existence though toward the end our guardian started leaving what I believe was called a television on for us. I suppose he hoped it would get some sort of reaction.¡±

Shrugging her shoulders slightly as if to say his reasons were unimportant then abruptly withdrawing her hand, a move that could almost appear to be in preparation for ripping ones heart out.

Locked Re: Salvatore Boarding House: Desperate Times (Bonnie/Enkil)

"It all began with the witches," Enkil began slowly.
?
"The red haired twins."
?
Find or help...Akasha...He honestly had no idea how to answer that so settled for telling the entire story instead. An hour later he fell silent, raising his dark eyes to Bonny's face, dark skinned, yet not Egyptian. Her countenance tugged at his mind, reminding him of some savages with whom they had once traded...before everything had changed. But she was no savage, and did she not claim to be a witch as well? This gave him hope along with trepidation. He knew he was treading on risky ground here, ground that had burned him before and in some ways he felt less ignorant and in some ways, if not more ignorant, at least more lost within this huge world full of strangeness in which he certainly did not rule anything now.
?
He waited, hoping she would not find him and his story to be lacking and as such completely mad.

Locked Salvatore Boarding House: Desperate Times (Bonnie/Enkil)

Bonnie found it odd how she could be both relieved and concerned all at once. As she carefully read each text her imagination threatened to get the better of her, a thing that if allowed to happen might make matters worse what with her already feeling semi helpless. She gave a frustrated sigh, sorely tempted to bring others into the loop but held off for now since Elena had seemed to want to limit the involvement of others.?

She sent one last text promising to get word to Damon and making a brief inquiry about what was expected of her before quickly pocketing the phone so that she could focus on the man at the door. ¡°Sorry.¡± At first she'd been reluctant to explain until she noticed his odd clothing and the small device he'd held out then something clicked in her brain.?

¡°Right. You're the one who needed help finding his wife. Or was it saving?¡± She wanted to make sure she hadn't gotten that part mixed up with her mind being all over the place at the moment. Cautiously reaching out to take the phone she placed it on a table in the foyer. ¡°It shouldn't take us long to get there.¡±

She recalled mentioning the books kept at the Armory as a means of hopefully finding some answers for him. ¡°Do you remember anything out of the ordinary? With how she was acting or anything else?¡± It couldn't hurt to start gathering information on the way there.

Locked Town Square (Lucy/Pandora)

¡°So¡do you remember anything else?¡± Pandora would ordinarily be fine with driving in silence but her gut told her that a little conversation was necessary. If only to solve the mystery of whether there was any truth to the tale woven by Bram Stoker in the late eighteen hundreds. ¡°About the past?¡± She cast a sidelong glance to the redhead then looked back at the road ahead.

When no answer was immediately forthcoming she gently prompted. ¡°Lucy?¡± She wondered if her silence implied the return of another memory, possibly a traumatic one, and so she tried again. ¡°Lucy?¡± Once more looking to the passenger seat while hoping to get a response she was already eyeing a place to pullover when the redhead seemed to slowly come out of a ¡®fog¡¯.?

¡°Lucy?¡± She repeated once more.

¡°I-I¡¡± Lucy stammered while collecting her thoughts. It would be no easy feat learning to cope with memories of the past if the bits and pieces she'd already managed to recall were any indication. Did she want to remember that life? The thought of starting over with a clean slate was an appealing one. ¡°I am sorry. I was just¡¡±

Part of her would be perfectly content if she never recovered those memories while at the same time knowing there would be no peace for her until she did. ¡°I think that I am just trying to sort out whether these images are things that I recall from my own life or¡¡± She let out a small sigh quietly looking out the passenger window a moment.?

¡°simply my imagination getting the better of me because of all those movies that I have been watching or the book itself.¡± It was hard to say whether she would ever get that particular matter sorted out.?

¡°I can't imagine finding yourself stuck between knowing what's real and what's fiction.¡± Pandora continued steering the sleek black car down the road towards town as she thought about checking her grimoire when they returned to the house. It was highly probable she wouldn't find anything of use but on the off-chance she might find some long forgotten spell that would be of help she'd take the time to do so.

The rest of the way into town the two women discussed all those movies the redhead had spent countless hours binge watching and this seemed to ease her mind for the time being. Sometime later the witch was parking her car in any space and they got out without any set idea of what they might do.

Re: Leaving Mystic Falls (Elena/Mihnea)

Elena became momentarily distracted by the ever growing number of questions as to how one might get Damon to turn his humanity back on. It had, after all, been no easy feat when hers had been off following the death of her own brother. In her case, it was watching as Matt¡¯s neck was snapped that had been the trigger. Quietly shaking it off as her focus returned to the conversation at hand. ¡°I don't think that anyone I¡¯ve ever known as taken it to that extreme either.¡±

She tried to remain relaxed as there was no reason as of yet to fly into a panic or obsess over plans of escape. ¡°If I feel like someone's hiding something from me then I have a tendency to keep digging until I find out what it is. Like with Stefan who was being all ¡®mystery man¡¯ at first and all these strange things kept happening. It was how I found out about vampires.¡±

The discovery of there being other kinds of vampires made her curious mostly because no one had ever mentioned them before. Which was surprising. But she said nothing on the subject as the conversation seemed to circle back around to the ¡®humanity switch¡¯.

¡°I suppose it could be a ¡®Jekyll and Hyde¡¯ sort of thing where eventually it gets harder, if not impossible, to turn one¡¯s humanity back on which could perhaps bring on a sense of madness. I don't know.¡± It honestly surprised her that she'd never heard either of the Salvatore brothers draw that comparison or even really thought of it that way herself until now. It seemed a fitting enough description of it though she didn't know whether any vampire had ever gone made as a result.

She exchanged a series of texts with her friend who while concerned seemed agreeable and even asked about the role she was expected to play in all of this. While her eyes remained on the screen the brunette opted to elaborate on what Bonnie had made a reference to in case he thought it some sort of code.?

¡°These two vampires who were looking to buy their freedom kidnapped me with the intention of handing me over to Klaus because of past mistakes with my ancestor. But anyway, she wanted to let me know that Stefan and Damon were coming for me so she used this spell that made a note from her appear in my pocket. It's, I think, what she means to do to get to word to Damon.¡±

Checking her phone once more she added. ¡°Bonnie says she¡¯ll help.¡±

"Sounds like the town is in worthy hands then. That's good. As for vampires I think human kind would be better off were they all dead, they seem to be abominations, but if their not making trouble I don't either I suppose."
?
He sighed.
?
"Usually because there is always enough trouble that is making trouble," he said.
?
His father had a few bad run ins with vampires and had killed his share, so David had a bit of experience as to which could be left alone for the most part.
?
?
"Demons are far worse," he said with a sigh.
?
"What o you know of demons?"
?
When he asked the question, his eyes were suddenly shadowed and tired. A flicker of desperation showing in their depths. Briefly his gaze dropped to the cell in his open?coat pocket but upon seeing no emergency texts his nearly silver?eyes lifted once again.
I'm friends with the monster that's under my bed.
I get along with the voices inside of my head.

Locked Re: Town Square (Matt/Nyssa/etc)

¡°Oh?¡± Nyssa was mildly curious at the mention of it which made her wonder what was so ¡®special¡¯ about this boarding school he¡¯d brought up. Of course, it might be one bit of information the good sheriff wasn't inclined to share with a stranger. But she figured it couldn't hurt to ask if for no other reason than making simple conversation.

¡°Oh yes, I almost forgot there was a college nearby. Whitmore, is it?¡± She'd overheard two women talking about their children attending college there since it was close enough they were able to come home on weekends. The thought of enrolling there herself had been tempting mostly as a means of connecting with the modern world and learning all she could about ¡®pop culture¡¯.

¡°I find it all interesting so no worries about boring me.¡± She responded with a friendly smile, taking notice of the two women exiting a sleek black luxury sedan both of whom she was familiar with though for entirely different reasons. ¡°I have grown rather fond of this town during my short time of calling it home so there's an excellent chance I¡¯ll be here for it.¡±

She glanced towards the building in question then back again. ¡°A bite to eat might not be the worst idea.¡± Her attention having been somewhat divided as it was her first time being around one who she'd restored to life. Admittedly her acceptance of the suggestion had more to do with the ability to observe the redhead.
