She looked over to renfield and said ¡°its no spell really. Its hard to really explain. Though I guess you could say its simualar.??There are spells that will ward off vampires from a building.??I assure you. Both of you that you are safe.??no one should bother you to much. Just be more cautious in the future its probably best not to stop for strangers with out precautions.¡± She looked over to franceska.??She notice the woman rubbing her neck.??She said ¡°as for damon I will be sure to give him a swift kick in the ass when I see him.??He is not quite right??at the moment I assume. Katherine kept things surprisingly simple as far as her choice in decoration, feeling no real need to opt for the so-called finer things. It would surprise those who knew her because as a vampire she had so often picked the most lavish foreclosure to settle into whenever she blew into town. Perhaps her tastes were changing or maybe simply reverting back to the way they were centuries ago. Either way she supposed it didn't matter.?

She walked into the small kitchen bending down to look the cabinet nearest the entrance. It only took a second of rummaging around for her to find the small box of medical supplies her benefactors had left behind. "These days...most men would either run or film the attack to be posted on Facebook later on."

For now, she wouldn't comment on the fact most wouldn't lift a finger if it meant saving HER life because she wasn't exactly winning any popularity contests in Mystic Falls nor did she particularly care to. Okay, so, maybe that was stretching the truth a little but she'd never admit to it.? |

Salvatore Boarding House/Kitchen (Bonnie/Elena/Tatia)
Tatia rose from the chair slowly moving about the living room with fingertips running along each piece of furniture. While her mind wandered to a time long ago when she had chosen life instead of throwing herself on her husband's funeral pyre. Her choice one frowned upon by those far more traditional minded and often whispered about. Looking back always left her with mixed feelings considering the outcome of later involvements.

She could recall having found love again, sometimes even second guessing the choice made back then. But what good would that do? Even if one of them were to walk back into her life, could it be that she might suffer the same fate but at the hands of a different brother??

Opting to find a distraction from her last memory of Elijah as it flashed through her mind she headed towards the kitchen where the others had disappeared to. "Should I go back..." Leaving that thought unfinished as a head shake quickly put a stop to it.

"No. You're fine. We actually need to talk about something." Bonnie dreaded this conversation as telling someone the brother of their killer was coming over to chat likely wouldn't go over well. But giving her a heads up was the kinder approach when taking into consideration her own complicated past with the Mikaelsons.

"Oh no, it's not that...it's...well..." Bonnie sent a quick look in Elena's direction continuing after a brief pause. "Klaus is coming here. I don't know when but...he is." She hoped the direct approach was the right one then again even if it wasn't there was nothing that could be done about it now.

Seeing the brief flicker of panic and sadness in the other woman's eyes she felt compelled to offer an alternative. "If you want...someone can take you into town or on walk through the woods so that you won't have to see him?" She was almost tempted to insist that her best friend accompany her so that both would be at a safe distance from Klaus Mikaelson.

Elena needed to focus on something other than her troubles with Damon, of that she was reasonable certain because solving the riddle that was their complicated relationship would just have to wait. She stepped up beside her doppelg?nger placing a comforting hand on the other woman's arm. "Maybe things have changed. I mean, when Elijah..."

Don't go bringing up the elephant in the room. Was that the right phrase? Shaking off the question she decided to take a different approach. "Being a vampire was totally new to them back then. I'm sure he wouldn't...I mean that is...I don't think Klaus would hurt you." Brilliant attempt at reassuring her! |

"That's what I'm afraid of." Hayley knew how quickly threats of violence were made use of when those close to him were in danger. It wasn't as if she wouldn't resort to drastic measures to protect her little girl but in some cases one had to tread lightly. "Probably a good thing." She said of his not intending to repeat past mistakes.?

"If you create more hybrids just...make sure they have a choice." She didn't want to see any werewolves turned against their will as most despised vampires with good reason. "And if Elena's okay with giving some of her blood." It wasn't difficult to see the merit of having others around to help protect their daughter even if she wasn't entirely on board with the idea as of yet.?

"If she decides to stay...to help us...then if she accepts the offer of being turned that's between you and her." She wouldn't object if that was the case.?

Lexi continued watching him closely determined not to let history repeat itself. By rights things shouldn't have gone down the way they had what with her being much older. Had she not been blindsided there would have been an entirely different outcome. The stream of questions caused her to be even more on guard. One eyebrow lifted in quiet response, briefly considering knocking him on his ass.?

"Convenient?" Even he had to know that leaving Stefan behind was never a deal or choice she would have made. "I had the chance to come back when the Other Side was collapsing but I chose to stay behind because what kind of friend would I have been if he lost his brother. So, you might think first before you go implying things."

Shaking her head at the next words out of his mouth. "Stefan traded places with you that night to give you a shot at the happiness he felt you deserved. He was still trying to make up for forcing you to turn. And this is what you're doing with the chance he gave you?"

"You are...seriously?" Davina asked with surprise in her voice, not entirely clear as to why there was any doubt about he would support leaving town. But then maybe she suspected his family to be in the middle of something that might require his presence. It was difficult to say. If the past was any indication there was always some form of trouble brewing.?

"Anywhere?" She repeated barely able to conceal her own excitement at the thought of being able to see the world. Until being resurrected she had never seen anything outside of New Orleans except through movies and pictures. "I always wanted to travel. It was just never an option." Her life for the most part had been a sheltered one.

"Somehow that doesn't sound all that convincing." The young witch had her doubts about whether them finding out about their ex would be a good thing.

She looked up with a smile hugging him close. "I'll just be happy if you two don't kill each other." While she would obviously love for the two men she thought of as family to be able to get along for more than five seconds she would settle for neither of them being torn to shreds.?

"Hmmm...I like where this conversation is going." She was trying to ignore the nagging feeling that she might be needed here.?

Damon took another step closer, eyes narrowing dangerously with suspicion and...something else beginning to brew.

"So...you came back from the dead and my brother did not, last you saw? That about it? How do you think that managed to happen? Very convenient don't you think?"

His words came quickly, one sentence bleeding into the next leaving no room for a reply until he fell silent and still save for the intense unwavering look in his eyes.

He'd been right there with her yet she was here! How...why? He felt red clouding his vision as the situation seemed to call for more action and less talk.

"I wonder what would happen if I sent you back. Do you think the two of you could switch places? Because if he thinks I'm going to go through all this...deal with all this alone..."

He explained...reasoned...but all the while a tiny part of his mind was screaming alarm bell style that something was up. there was a little tiny problem...Why did he care? Why was this such a problem Heed turned it all off so...so...

"Good,"Franceska said of the fact strange vampires couldn't just be walking in on them.
One hand strayed up to her throat, the movement a graceful fluttering o her slim hand in spite of her obvious shudder at the memory of the earlier attack. She wasn't accustom to being attacked and it had rocked her more than she'd thought...in spite of the fact she could've likely survived whatever. She sighed and glanced back to Rebecca.

"But will we be able to let Mihnea in then? We're not the owners...so will the house listen to us while we're in it?"

"The ownership thing is new to me,"Renfield murmured with arched brows.
"It must be A spell or a different breed of vampire. The reason I had myself committed to that dreadful psychiatric hospital in the first place back when was so The Master could have access to the property. It was I who let him in and I certainly didn't own the place."

He was surprised to learn doctors were not so rare as he thought they were everything was so strange and unfamiliar.??He was seeing things he never thought or even imagine existed.??He looked around the cabin as he entered.??Everything was strange to him.??So many different smells.??Of course katherines scent was the main one he smelled. He reach up and rubbed the moonstone he hand around his neck.?

He said ¡°this is a strange place.??I have never seen anything like this.¡±??He looked closely at things and then turned back at Katherine. He smiled and laughed slightly. He said ¡°that is easy to answer. you were in danger. It would be dishonorable of me not to help when I have the power to.¡± He didn¡¯t mention about he healed quicker than humans. Even in his time being a werewolf and someone finding out could be death.

Katherine briefly considered the idea of loading him into the car, however, she quickly decided against doing so because of the questions it would raise. Of course, it had occurred to her that his appearance could easily be explained away as some form of cosplay perhaps intended to 'spice up their love life' when their little wilderness getaway was interrupted by a cougar.?

If the wounds were serious enough she would cross that bridge when she came to it. "Doctors as they're called these days aren't all that rare." She offered a smile as her hand was kissed, briefly feeling as if someone had turned back the clock. The man had clearly been dead longer than she had been alive or he lived an extremely sheltered life. Those were the only possible explanations for anyone to consider meeting her an honor.

"I should have everything I need in the first aid kit." It wasn't how she expected to be spending her day but maybe it could work out to her advantage. Leading the way she stepped up onto the porch moving over to open the door which she held open once inside. "Okay. I gotta ask. Why would you go toe to toe with a cougar?"? |

Davina was left to contemplate the possible outcomes of having been resurrected by someone with a strong connection to the 'Ferryman'. Something she didn't want to worry him with because it might prove to be nothing at all. Things weren't always part of some nefarious plot to end the world or wipe out a race. But what had the woman hoped to gain from bringing her back?

Her expression was troubled, shaking it off, not wishing to reveal too much of what was going on inside her mind. Even though a tiny voice kept shouting about how she should be turning to him for support instead of fighting so hard to hold it all back. It was just that he had been through enough without being forced to deal with all her fears and concerns which could prove unfounded.?

She shook her head in silent confirmation of his statement. "I got a sense the Ancestors had. Because they backed off in a hurry." Whoever the mystery woman turned out to be, none of them had wished to get into an altercation with her. So, that was something she supposed.?

"How about we skip town? Go somewhere tropical...before that happens?" The young witch suggested upon hearing the dread in his voice. What she wanted more than anything was for them to finally be able to be happy but even as the words passed through her lips she knew that leaving her new friends hanging wasn't something she was prepared to do.

"But did they love her?" She was none too thrilled about the possibility of either brother discovering their ex was alive. It wasn't her call to make though. If Tatia wished to see them again she would offer support and do what was necessary to ensure she didn't die at the hands of a Mikaelson for the second time.?

Her smile returned as she was pulled closer. "You...and Marcel are my family."

"If I had to guess..." Lexi shot a quick glance toward the other woman without ever fully taking her eyes off Damon. "I would say that he's up to his old tricks again." Hazel-green eyes studied Damon when he took a step closer given this little reunion was one she had mixed feelings about what with how the last one had gone. "I wish I knew." "I was with him...we were talking about everything I missed..." It was frustrating not knowing whether he had chosen to remain in the 'hereafter' or if Stefan had come back. Though she couldn't really blame her old friend if he had chosen the former.? |

With any luck things would work out as she hoped instead of going sideways. Last thing this family needed was more problems things were bad enough. "Should I be worried?" She asked with one eyebrow raised then sighing responded. "I guess that Bonnie found a loophole in that whole 'sleeping beauty' curse thing."

Hopefully not a repeat of past choices otherwise gaining new allies might be a bit impossible to do. Nodding once when he talked about helping out at the school. "Maybe you could."

"The study and all it can achieve has been sadly underrated and overlooked even in scientific branches themselves," Renfield said avidly, eyes gleaming as he followed them out.

"If you're not busy perhaps you could show us around tomorrow or something,"Franceska said.

"Like if there are interesting stores or places to go..."
Recalling how small the?town was, she heard her own voice falling off doubtfully.

Kol looked thoughtful as Davinaa spoke of the lady who had seemingly rescued her from death. The description of the cloaked figure, a boat, the river brought to mind old literature.

"Sounds like the river Styx," he said lightly.

"I suppose the woman didn't look at all familiar to you then."

He assumed not else Davina would've told him.

"Well I have a feeling it will come to light eventually," he concluded, only a little dread in his voice.

He nodded, giving a slight smile when she spoke of Tatia being frightened of his brothers.
"I would assume so!"
Shrugging he added,"That is for them to sort I suppose. I certainly can't blame her for any residual hard feelings, though. It isn't the first time they hurt someone they claimed to love," he concluded bitterly.

Part of him knew how wrong that was...How easy it was to harm with a power one couldn't control even against one's will but the rest of him was tired of what little he'd received from the brothers in question and didn't completely care.

Kol only laughed and drew her closer when Davina teased, threatening AA little too seriously, to make things more difficult for him. When she said perhaps it was their time to be happy, though, he hoped so with all of his heart and willed it to be so. It would be so. Nothing would get in their way and if it did, it or they or whatever would have him to deal with.
