Locked Re: ANSWER TO GUIDE RULE

The LIKE feature is of very little value - IMHO

Here is what the User manual for says:

Using the Like feature

Similar to social media apps and websites, 开云体育 has a feature allowing group members to indicate that they like messages that are posted to the group. You can use either of these methods to like a group message:

  • On the group’s website, click the Like?icon at the bottom of the message.
  • By email, reply to the message you want to like and enter either +1?or the word like?as the text of your reply. (If your reply quotes the message you are replying to, delete all the quoted text so your reply contains only +1?or like.)
This reply will not be sent to group members or appear in the message archive on the group’s website, but your like will be included in the count next to that message’s Like icon on the website.
So - only if you look at the message on the site will you see the like count. In searching the last 700 messages, I never saw more than 1 person liking on any message.

A more important feature, again IMHO, is the Mute This Topic link that you will see at the bottom of the message.
