I had to meddle with it quite a bit until I got the link Other Bill sent. A couple of other things that I searched didn't help. Link to the free codec for Win10 Photo Editor did the trick. One of the other links started that way, but gave the non-free codec. It was only a buck, but I'm a cheap bastrich, and trying to spend my money on durable tools right now!

Saw table fabricated and in place. See how the saw vise clamps the table to the base of the table. Four adjustable height feet to make the whole thing level in both axes and very rigid and lots of space to maneuver the workpiece. too.

I could see a placeholder image for it, but it wouldn't open, and the preview feature in my email didn't work either. It did download copies of the heic file each time I clicked on it, and saved them. The microsoft photo editor wouldn't open them, either, nor would any of the other image manipulation software I have. Had to mess about with Windows to get it going. In the long term, it will likely be worth having done. Short term, I had other things to do. Hate it when that happens! ;)

I did have trouble, and first found instructions that didn't work on my machine. Fortunately for me, Other Bill found instructions that did work on mine, because I was already getting grumpy. I have been playing with computers since the late 70's. I think they're great toys, but I still don't think they're ready for prime time. I want computers that just work. Fault tolerant and self-repairing would be just below that on my list of necessaries. Yeah, that's right. I want it all, plus ten percent! ;) When I'm playing with a computer it's ok if it needs me to figure things out and fix them. When I'm doing something with a computer, I need it to work. And mine wasn't.?

Apple has introduced a new image format in iOS 11 called HEIF. Because the Apple app uses a patented image compressor it is not all that common outside the Apple world.

Here it is as a .jpeg ...?

I have a simpler method, if Linux won't view it without installing something, I don't look at it.? More things to see than I have time for so I skip videos (or skip to the last 30 seconds) and skip anything that won't display or requires me to sign up or anything.? FB and Twitter are pretty much automatically skipped.

I made this table from a magazine article (projects in metal I think) 10-15 years ago and use it all the time. ?You can sit on the back as you saw. It folds up for easy storage.
